I am not into Dogging Per se, but I am interested in a venue where I would feel safe and among 'friends' or like minded people, where I could wear my girlie clothes without any fear of persecution or trouble.
The dogging and cruising grounds are perfect for this, as people who go there are generally very open minded and tend not to mind a TV wandering about. Some people also talk to me and I answer their questions honestly and openly.

However, because I do not know who is in a car, and because of my mode of dress, I am nervous about approaching cars and will tend to stay away from them. Plus, if I approach someone and they are offended, than I have broken the law, if you approach me, then no law has been broken, as you are acting in a consensual manner. So, please come up to me and say hello.

Other places are theXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Somebody mentioned to me another one, up by the paddling pool, which does look perfect actually, as it is very quiet up there.
And, just to reassure you, the police are NOT after doggers and cruisers. They are after the trouble makers, muggers and drug pushers. I am in touch with both Hertfordshire and the Met police over an incident that took place last Friday at Moat Mount, whereby I had my specs stolen. I reported the incident and spoke at length to a police officer, who assured me that the police will tend to leave us alone. OK, if you are caught having sex over the bonnet of your car, in full view of them, then they are obliged to take action, but otherwise, they will leave you well alone.
Can I add to this too, that, if you see a fellow friend in trouble, be they doggers, cruisers, TV, gay or anything, please do not run off but go to their assistance of phone the police. It is this irrational fear that the muggers rely on. The fact that when they start something, people will run away, leaving their victim alone and stranded. If you stick together, then this acts as a deterrent to them. I appreciate that some people have partners who are unaware of their activity, but I can assure you that the police will give you anonymity if you decide to report a crime. They are going to publicise what happened on Friday, but are leaving my real name out of the papers.
Your info about the police and doggers is useful, but have you ever considered that YOUR ACTIONS in posting two exact locations and some directions to them might actually add to the problem of nutters and boy racers turning up at sites to ruin the action?
If you haven't the brains to consider this yourself, PLEASE READ THE RULES before you post cos we have considered these things for you

Cottaging is subtly different, in that it is usually done in a public toilet. I think the crime there is called importuning, and is linked to rent boys and such. But I could be totally wrong and would appreciate the knowledge of any gay guys on here.
I WILL find out though, by asking my mate Sally, or I shall ask the police directly, so watch this space.
There is also something under the public decency act to do with cottaging, plus possibly the damage that is caused by drilling the 'glory holes' etc.
Which brings me onto another point.. Safety etc.. We all know the need for safe sex etc. But PLEASE, do NOT spoil it by leaving condoms and such like laying around. Simply wrap them in tissue or a 'dog poo' bag and put them in the bin. These places are frequented by the vanilla community by the day, and if they see condoms all over the place, they are apt to complain. If the area is left neat and tidy, then they tend to live with it, if they know what goes on. Littering the places will only attract attention and the places will be shut down.
This happened at WisleyXXXXXXXXXXX. There were so many condoms left about in the morning after the nights acvitivy that the council decided to close the car parks and employed clampers. The police issued parking tickets and generally made life uncomfortable. If people had taken five minutes to clear up after them, this would not have happened.

If you continue to disregard the rules of this site with regard to the posting of exact locations, we will have no choice but to de-activate your username in order to keep the rest of the people in your area safe from the nutters who use forums like this to gain info. Remember this is a public board - ANYONE can read it, indeed, we've had boy racers on here trying to tap people up for info. PLEASE do not add to the problem by giving them info on more places to go!
OK, POINT TAKEN. My apologies. In future, When I need to refer to a particular location or locations, I shall list them as site a, siteb etc etc, and these will be available via email to whoever asks.:P

If we are attempting to start somewhere, then I reckon that the best bet is for the first time to just meet up, have a drink and a chat and generally suss it out first. That way, we will know whether it is worth continuing.
Unfortunately, due to my police appointment, I cannot make it this weekend, and I am at school (adult play) the weekend after. But I reckon would be the best place.

I have been in touch with PC XXXXX of the Met Police. The primary reason was for setting up a meeting to do with the theft of my specs and assault. But I posed to her your specific question and I have the following answer:
Technically, there is No difference between cottaging and dogging. Although dogging is defined as WATCHING people have sex and cottaging is cruising for sex. So I think the question should be what is the legality of cottaging as opposed to cruising.
There is no difference in reality. Both are technically illegal, in that it is illegal to have sex in a public place where it may be possible that people would be able to see and be offended. The crux of this, is the POSSIBILITY that you may be viewed by someone who may be offended, not whether you ARE viewed or not. A subtlety, but significant.
However, she (the police officer) stated that what goes on with dogging is in secluded locations, out of the public eye and the police will, generally, turn a blind eye to its activity. They are FAR more interested in the highly illegal activities of trouble makers, thieves, robbers, muggers and drug dealers who are also known to frequent such sites.
I invited PC XXXX (can I give the name MoD??) to view this site and she did, informing me that she knows SGT XXX of the met who has posted on this site.
PC XXXX thanked me for my openness and frankness, wishing that more people would actually come forward and report crimes, as they can then investigate them. She has asked a few rather probing questions, ie what I was wearing etc, in order to identify me when we meet. The police ARE supportive of us and I believe she wants her and I to act as gobetween/laison between our community and the police, so that questions can be posed and answered, on both sides.
So, if you have anything to report, or wish to ask a question, I have her email address and promise to put them to her exactly as written, please feel free to do so. There is a lot of mistrust of the police, quite naturally, but the DO support us.

But what put me off was a LandRover turning its lights one everyone who entered. This wasnt in the car park, but parked a little way down, close to a caravan. It also had big "PATROL" letters on it. I dont know if they are reading this board, if so "Hello".
So, its down to someone to recommend somewhere else. There is always SiteB and SiteC, but they arent as good, in my opinion.
But, when driving around, I found another top car park too, by accident, which was full at 10:30, so I dunno what was going on there. Had I accidentally stumbled on something?
I think the idea of a pub meet is an excellent idea. There are BDSM Munches that do this with a great deal of success. I attend them (see ). Anita, this site has already used the idea of munches, someone pinhced the idea from the BDSM scene of people meeting in vanilla mode. There have been several very successful Swinging Heaven munches around the country. Have a read of the sticky posts on the top of the Lets Meet Up forum. You might be able to attend one near you in the near future? You will have no problem attending a Swinging heaven munch in girly gear. My partner is a TV and had no probs dressing as a girl at the last North West Munch. JudyTV, a regular on this board has attended several munches and she has always gone as Judy rather than in male mode.
