It seems counterproductive to have a Dogging Location page that is open to the public.
It would seem obvious that this would invite disruptive individuals to frequent those locations and spoil our fun.
Is it possible to have a moderated listing of locations that is only available, on request, via PM?
Members can mail updates to this register and request information by area, etc.
Just a thought.

Cant see how it can be secure or open to the people who are genuine or want to view it without them having to identify themselves or something and that is not something we want to do
Without getting into the notion of vetting members, the technical filter could simply be the ability to send and receive private messages, which requires full membership.
The site details, by county, could be held by a group of volunteer members, with access to SH-owned user accounts. These details would be sent to full members on request.
If this isn't vetting enough, the system could operate on a personal recommendation basis, where eligibility for receipt of the listings could be subject to recommendation by another already-approved member.

The dogging location in many instances are either out of date and not used any more or they are put up by the ever hopefuls trying to attract couples.
If it's not visible on this site I'm sure that access to the locations will be available on another site. Sorry to be negative but the best ones are the ones not listed.

Best sites not listed.... i understand why BUT how do the genuine people actually get to know where they are??
I used to go to a few sites across liverpool and cheshire but now they are dead or boy racer/pot head/police hang outs...
I know a few great places that are no longer used by anyone but as stated I would be classed as a someone trying to tempt cpls to a place..
So.. what is the best method of keeping the genuine people in touch with each other??
