Dogging Locations

Hi all

Was looking at the Surrey dogging locations, and they are all so dated! Are there no new ones? There must be some updates to the old ones? we’re just asking for a friend 😘

It's actually members of SH that add new and update Dogging locations in the Dogging sections.

Excluding the current situation with Covid that should prevent everyone wanting to engage, sadly I have to say I think they are best left out of date.

Its a shame  but With so many spots having been publicised, then seized upon by press, idiots, etc I would like to think the last few unpublished spots may remain.

Here's hoping that post-lockdown and once safe to do so there will be a gentle upsurge in couples getting out and trying it.

Perhaps a better approach though SH is a flashmob approach, where a location is decided upon by a small specific group, then shared to a slightly wider trusted group really close to the time.. i know this might do away with some of the excitement of the Unknown but if everyone on here looked after eachother (even when inviting newbies or stranger) then it could work. The appropriate could include a feedback system incase anyone had complaints about who came (ie banning people if they are the press etc).... Overall it would mean places could get used more randomly

That sounds very cliquey!!! 

We’ve seen this sort of thing at dogging spots over the years cliquey groups that get all the attention but only play with the same Doggers week in week out .. 

Had a look today at the dogging information available on the site for our area. In the forum the location info runs to over 800 pages - I'm not going to slog through all that. In the dogging tab on the main page, it's much easier to find area specific posts but there, the content is often so  brief and so old as to be meaningless. Can't expect admin to update that's down to members. But a little weeding of old or totally vague posts would help.

Having moved to a new area (well a return for me after many years) and interestied I trying dogging for the first time I was rather disappointed. Did get one or two ideas about locations nearby though. So will be checking them out while they are quiet during lockdown. Only those nearby as part of a walk during the day as part of my allowed fresh air and exercise, I should point out.

If anyone knows of a good location near to Knaresborough/Harrogate or surrounding area please let me know.

Does anyone go to Goring gap... as I see its a popular location.. and if so.. is it popular in weekday evenings?

Goring Gap, no, but we would consider it, what's the scene like. We are total newbies , but goring is local so we would in interested in knowing more

I am new to the area too, but I looked up locations, and it said Goring Gap is popular..I have had a recce there and their is fields and a road around one side, very quiet in the evenings, and also the beach the other side, with a car park area and bushes at the back of the beach... No lighting there at all. I am a newbie to this too, but I would like to try... safely of course.
