I got stopped by a couple in mk a week ago.
Very helful they were too.
They checked the car was mine, that I was insured and asked my why I was sitting in the pp carpark at 0100z.
They then told me to find somewhere else to be tired.
Seriously, most of the carparks are now barren zones, barren of couples and trees and bushes. The reason being: there are too many cars going through them at high speed.
It's still about, but compared to 10 years ago.....well....lets say you'll be lucky to find anyone today, then you'd have been unlucky to find none.
It goes against the grain, but your main chance is to arrange something. Probably your only chance.

Usual advice - have a drive around in daytime looking for likely spots, check out the local OS maps for possible sights, then take a drive round after dark to see what the place looks like. Then patience! MK and around seems very transient at the moment - there is not much going on, but there is some..
Warming the Bed
There is life in MK but you do have to be patient. There are some nice places outside of the centre and if you are patient enough you will be lucky.
