Hi mate,
Best advice I can give is take a wee drive about near the braids. There aren't many roads that pass the braids and are discrete - so shouldn't take too long to isolate the spot. But to let you know it isn't very active - and can suffer from dog walkers from local houses who are not amused by it!!!!

..shame you didnt post 2 weeks ago Wizard..me and my girl were in Edin 2 weeks ago...had some great outdoor fun on a path leading down to Waverly Street station and also in a sauna, had a very grateful audience...we'll be back!!
