yes, it is normal to be a little nervous, which really, is part of the fun..then the adrenaline kicks in, and bingo, you get hooked..like a white knuckle ride, except you are gripping your chopper, not the safety bar..
its fine to ask for private meets..most of the posts here are just that..if you want to be noticed, you have to shine like a piece of amber, otherwise you'll be just another grain of sand on the beach, you may get kicked around a bit too.
most couples aren't looking for private meets, most guys are..bit of a conflict of interests. some couples think they are, then back off when d-day approaches..some aren't couples at all..just join in the chat, but don't expect too much to come of it..for many here, ourselves included, its just an extention of the lifestyle..
let me suggest this...embrace the fear, go out anyway..feel the excitement..its as alien to you to approach an occupied vehicle in a dark carpark, as it is for new couples to be approached, don't worry about it..half the guys that say they are too respectfull to approach, are shitting themselves too :lol: it will happen for you, it is something you will get used too.
if you really want to stick with the private meet stuff, fine, i wish you luck..but i'll say this..i know many guys that chase around the country for such meets, often they just lead to dissapointment and a large petrol bill..the guys that get most results are the ones that bide their time in the carpark..
by the way, welcome to the board....ps, the fact you are nervous will stand you in good stead, it'll keep you on your toes..stop worrying so much, its good fun, get out there..

aahhh, mistakes happen, i've seen some bloopers along the way..trust me, you will learn to read , sometimes you'll get it wrong, the best still do from time to time..more often than not though, you will find that most are there for the same reasons..

I am in somewhat similar situation to elite2, i have tried dogging once before that was a pre-arranged meeting. I would love to try again, but would rather not sit in a carpark full of guy's in cars on the offchance of meeting a couple.
Can anyone tell me the best places to go locally and whether it is worth just going there ?

I've never thought of going dogging but speding time on Sh is giving me all sorts of ideas so I'd be interested in hints and tips - like where to go and what to do as in this thread. I'm not far from Romford (in Walthamstow) so the A12 would be fine.
Pls check out my ad and get in touch if you like what you see (or not for that matter!) I expect I'll be just as scared as anyone, but like someone said above, I guess that's part of the fun.
