I used to think that advertisers who didn't put their location in the ads were being rather silly or forgetful.
THEN, I noticed that the little panel to the left of the ad usually gives the general location of the message poster.
I would have thought a mod would have known this.

Could be the case. there are many advertisers who do forget to give a hint as to where they are in the universe, I was merely trying to point out where it can sometimes be found.

Their location hasn't always been in the panel to the left. Mal would know where to look - it was obviously added after he asked.

Well then I suggest that you put an addendum in all of your future postings saying that you don't want anyone to respond EVER unless they are a couple and that humour is definitely not welcome. Many humble apologies for posting on your forum.

So you're saying that this section shouldn't be used for doggers to chat to each other? That we should only arrange meets here and talk about who we did what with who and where? What about the people who don't do arranged meets, should they be banned?

There's really no need to get abusive is there? A sense of humour goes a long long way on here. We've met many people off this site and become friends with lots of them.

Sitting in my ivory tower I can see exactly what craignjane are wanting.
Some couples are perfectly happy to be watched by large groups of doggers, some are a little more reserved and do not like to be surrounded, preferring to have an audience of maybe one or two watchers, or like to know in advance who they are meeting.
Each to thier own.
I do note that this thread has been read nearly 500 times,(at the time of writing), any one of those readers could possibly have been a potential contact for craignjane, But I suspect most of whom will have been put off by a lack of humour.

thanks for all the posts we may have come across ashaving no humour ,we like humour but all we were saying was leave the silly comments on someone elses forum post we were hoping for a cpl and yes we did get there in the end .will get them to verify us as they do go to the odd donnycplxxxxxxxxxxxx

If everyone said 'leave the silly comments to other peoples' posts', there wouldn't be any humour - what makes you so different that you should be free from silly comments?
