Given recent whinging about the lack of response to threads, maybe it would be a nice idea to have an introductions thread?
Not a place for asking for locations or meets but somewhere for new members to say hello to everyone with a bit of info about themselves (we don't all hang out in the Cafe y'see).......it'll save all those of embarassing first post moments slipping off the board into oblivion lol

(it's not compulsory, so feel free to be anti-social if you want :P )

Namely in this example, serendipity posted her comment on here at today and then when I responded it became a thread.
