Before you can get involved in either 1 on 1, or group sex you have to get yourself known to others on this site. This can be done by putting up 'Posts' in the forum, or answering other 'posts' places by other members. Going to a few of The Munches held around the country will also get you known. Up til the influx of new members this week, most people on the forum were genuine people - the dickheads and piss takers were in the minority. Then, all of a sudden it was like someone had dropped off a hundred coach loads of nutters at the door of Swinging heaven and they started to post silly messages left right and centre. Us moderators were rushed off our feet trying to keep the site in some sort of order so that it remained a genuine, safe and fun place to be. I've no doubt that some of the people who were attracted to Swinging Heaven by the press coverage were genuine, in that they were curious about the swinging scene. However, because of the misconception that all swingers are just nymphos who'll literally shag anything most of these people posted inappropriate messages that pissed all us experienced swingers right off.
The upshot is, if you REALLY want to get into swinging there are as many rules as there are in all sorts of other social interactions. Most swingers do not shag literally anything. Lots of swingers only want to interact with couples, and there are less couples who want to meet single guys. There are many more single guys than there are single females or couples, so if you're heterosexual and a single guy you have to work hard to be successful. Bi guys probably find it a bit easier, but not by much.
The thing with the Internet is that it is can be impersonal and people forget their manners. It is rude to PM uninvited, just as it would be to go up to a group of people in real life and ask them outright for a shag. That's why people post "welcome" messages on the forum as it is polite to introduce yourself to a group of strangers. Basically, everyone is welcome on Swinging Heaven, regardless of your gender or sexual preference. Amongst the members there are swinging couples, doggers, bi and gay men and women, TVs, and a few people into the fetish scene. As long as you newbies are respectful and polite you'll get along fine, but the minute people forget their manners that's when the mods kick off
