so I'm going to raise a couple of things that have been bugging me.
If a couple posts on here and are only looking for another couple...............is that REALLY dogging in the true sense of the word? Aren't they really just swapping, and as such should be posting in Lets Meet Up?
Why does there seem to be such a strong, anti-gay bias from a fair few people on here? Surely if dogging is for everyone, then gay men have as much right to do it as we do? Is the complaining about certain sites being full of gays just caused by jealousy because they seem to be very active and couples and single females seem to be in short supply in some areas?
Why do men leave the toilet seat up? biggrin
I'm inclined to think along the same lines. Asking for couples is not *true* dogging. It's an arranged outdoor meet, but maybe for site purposes it is easier to stick in in this category? confused
I think dogging was/is the act of *watching* someone have sex, so maybe if we're being pedantic here, we could argue that to have them join in is not true dogging either? dunno
As for the complaints about gay's using the dogging sites, I would hazard a rough guess that a lot of these sites were probably being used by the gay community long before the doggers took them over . . .
One of the sites Jon and I use has a large gay community using it. No one there seems to have a problem with anyone else. The gay guys stick to one area and doggers/couples to another. It works very well and many times we've had gay guys watching us too :P
I'm not sure why doggers think the gay guys are going to jump on them the minute they leave their car. Certainly we've never seen that happen, so I'm fairly convinced gay guys would make sure a guy was receptive before making a move.
At the end of the day, we're all out to have fun in the great outdoors, but I agree, some of it is not dogging in the true sense but who cares? It's fun and we're all enjoying ourselves  wink

ps. After living in a household full of men, I have yet to discover why they leave the loo seat up. Maybe it's just because they can? lol
Is it anti-gay bias, specifically? Or just that some folks are hoping to find straight men, or couples (and perhaps don't get the interest they are hoping for from gay men)? I don't know - I just wondered. I'd prefer not to find groups of other men at a site, whether straight or gay. But I agree that I can hardly complain, after all I assume the other blokes I see out are just doing what I'm doing.
don't homosexual men have their own name for it - cottaging
maybe bumper stickers are the answer
"I'm a dogger" would be fine
until you get to work redface
but "I'm a cottager" would be fateful cos everyone would think you support Fulham!
lol
The gay word is CRUISING.....
COTTAGING is having sex in a public loo..(a COTTAGE in gay slang)
Most new doggers dislike gays because they don't like their cocks being looked at (newby slang for a gay watching a dogging crowd.......cock-watcher)
In fact, it's getting to be a problem at some sites, where the "doggers" (as they think themselves) are quite agressive towards guys watching without their dicks being out and manipulated...
Strange really, since most dogging sites were being used by gay guys before the madding crowd of wannabee free-shaggers arrived....
my apologies
i thought cottaging must be something to do with having an crush on George Cohen
Can't say I understand what the problem is regarding gay guys using sites, it's a free country....and it's hard to imagine that they'd find any couples of too much interest, but if the couples aren't objecting why is anyone else. If doggers are busy watching the action, how would they know if the guy standing near them is getting off on seeing the couple or having a sneaky peek at the doggers anyway dunno
Re: toilet seat, have it spring loaded so it snaps shut, that'll teach 'em

he he he, I guess the latter question has to be, because we are lazy
Being a BI male smile I can see things from both sides. sometimes when out having fun with a guy it can be more of a problem getting court in the act as when you are out with a lady or a couple so you tend to be more watchful and flighty.
I know a site in leicester that gay guys use a lot but lately a goup (possbale Doggers not sure) have been turning up four guys one woman standing around not rearly getting up to anything but the guys look rearly intimedating and you would not want to approch if you were streight, BI or gay. I think most streight guys have a problem thinking you are going to jump on them as soon as they drop there pants shows his rear.. but trust me not all your arses are that good. :!:
sorry about ropey spelling redface
Coming from an all male household in my youth and then moving into a house full of women (lucky me) whilst I accept that men leave the seat up why is it that women only leave it half up or half down or to be specific the lid up. dunno
I think that the answer to both questions is because both women and men are lazy.
The seat and lid are always down in our house.. :small-print:
A cocks a cock no matter what size or shape it is, whether another guy chooses to look at it whether he's gay or not doesn't bother me in the slightest.
in reply to the question of the toilet seat - lets see it from the other side -
Why do women moan about men leaving the seat up - they are just as capable of putting it down as we are lifting it up after they have used it biggrin
After all women wanted eqaul opportunites - lol
now i know im going to get a lot of stick now but i couldnt resist :D

I didn't, I always demand superior opportunities, equal shmeequal! lol
Why do me leave the toilet seat up?
Because if we left it down and then pissed all over it you really would have something to moan about. lol
