We prefer to not pre arrange as spur of the moment is more of a turn on and my other half won't feel under pressure to perform. The problem we have found is despite going out several times to different known places and making all the usual signals, the single guys in cars don't seem at all interested and either ignore us or just drive off. We drew the conclusion that maybe they are too scared, or guys looking for gay activity.

We might in the future if we have more free time, at the moment if we want to play we want to increase our chances of actually finding someone that wants to, that being said we do sometimes just take photos instead.

We expect that the people that want to have fun probably take the time to look them up, We can think of a very many scenarios where the "I didn't know" would prevent enjoying something in everyday life;
Turning up to a public pool expecting to be able to go nude, a dry ski slope in flipflops shorts and a t-shirt, a shooting range or driving experience hammered...
If you dont know the basic rules, you should probably expect not to be allowed to join the fun.

@snuffles87 that's insane that you as a couple are stood up. I must admit it is some what of a weird feeling the 1st time to meet a couple. I from experience and known others that have had a very bad experience meeting couples so I do understand it but as long as you get over the initial nerves it is most fun. I for 1 have traveled over an hour for a couple of daytime meets and would not let anyone down if arranged so feel free to invite me on your next meeting up x lol 😉 it is much harder as a single guy I can assure you especially when you goto a spot and are only looking for a woman and there's only gay guys .....mmmm no thanks guys

Seeing a female, couple or not, would be a good start for me. Only just tried dogging, and been out twice. Essentially going a drive just to read a book in the car. Have to keep plugging away, accepting the odds will always be low until I can potentially make a contact or two.
Essentials for modern dogging: Mobile phone with an entertainment subscription, or youtube. On stopping, look around and sus the opposition, then check the mobile phone signal. Or if no signal, leave and download things then go back.
Driving around the carpark several times is not an essential! Although it seems to be at Blid***** carparks, where I hear you can do the entire place in 23 seconds if you try!
A couple, or that 1-in-1-million happening, a single woman, would be nice, but is not a modern essential!
Unfortunately the shy couple would almost certainly be us, been to a few local spots but not encountered anyone yet, should a crowd gather I think I'd be very wet down below and not in a good way.

Wow, am surprised on this. Just shows everyday is a learning day. I would have guessed. Incorrectly, that it was easy for couples to arrange meetings. Am aware there are guys on here. Who seem to want to pic collect. Or exchange back and forth in emails, to play things out in their minds. Well I learnt something new, to start the day. Just as diffcult for couples as males on their own. Thank you for the insight. All have a great week.
We used to make arrangements to meet other people at dogging locations and we have never ever had a single person turn up. It was so disappointing so now we just wing it and we always get some great action.
I gotta say though that a lot of the sites are gradually disappearing.
When we are down south we usually pop into the lay-by at Sleaford. There is always good action there.
Another place that is starting to get busy with lots of variety is the lay-by on the right hand side, 6 miles north of Bourne on the A15.
We will be down there in a couple of weeks time. Maybe we will meet some of you there. xx

Partner is keen to give this a go. We're both dogging virgins. The one thing that puts us off is people with cameras / phones. Is it common for pics / vids to be taken ? Do people respect a polite 'no'. It's a deal breaker for us in doing this but are we over thinking it?
We've taken a few pics for ourselves but generally dont have anyone else in them. None of the people we've met have ever brought cameras or taken pictures
