I have often searched for daytime dogging and have to admit I once watched a couple having a shag at 3pm in the afternoon in some woods, but have spent many fruitless daytimes in search of.
I am assured by reliable people on here that is does happen though of course during the daytime many of these sites have familes etc on so great discretion is needed, probably why so hard to find.

We have had lots of fun in the sun , its more exciting really providing you can find spots which are free of children . Also it means the auto focus on my camera works better :-)
yes, it does happen, and more to the point, it happens at the forest sites we use on the norfolk/suffolk border..i'm not saying its a common thing, but once you are aware of it, it seems to click into place like one of those magic eye 3d puzzle thingies..you know, the ones that make you crosseyed..of course, occassionally the woman teeters into the trees wearing stillettos and mini skirt, husbands playing football with the kids invairably getting nudged in the ribs by unhappy spouses, but more often than not, its far subtler than that..at our regular site, which is also a popular picnic spot, the action takes place well away from the carpark..usually it takes the guise of a couple, hand in hand, out for a summer afternoon's walk. 
.the idea is for one, two, maybe more guys to trace their footsteps at a discreet distance, then, after a while, they might stumble across some action. :shock:
in saying that, some guys are fucking idiots and will follow anyone and everyone, including couples with kids, trust me, i've seen it..guys circling a picnic table like sharks, just because two girls happen to be sat there, having a PICNIC :shock:
desperation and assumption aren't the preserve of the nocturnal numbnut..however, with commonsense, as silky and g mentioned earlier, it is damned exciting

More classic writing from uncle dirty, however I am crap at those 3d puzzles and even crappier at daytime dogging, I only notice the couple I did see as she was blatantly taking off her top in the car to put her bra back on!!!
