Went to the A226 near Gravesend last night to watch some action. The area was very busy from around 10pm. Some couples came in and switched their interior lights on. They started to talk, then continue to talk. Eventually by gone 11pm I had had enough and left.
Maybe they are waiting for some kind of signal. Was I supposed to do something to let them know I'm watching ? Enjoyed the anticipation, just wish it would have lead to something.

Be careful every couple that enters a car park with interior light on does not mean they are waiting to show.
I would have suggested leaving your interior light on and see if you got an invite.
If not they may have been talking or eating in the car.
Be careful.

Approach slowly try to get a feel for what is going on.
Maybe walk past the car but not directly at the window and see if you are invited or something has started.
They may open the window or signal by flashing sidelights.
Best advice is stay near your car and indicate as I said before you are ready and you may well get a direct invite.
Once invited go for it but make sure you question and respect all the limits of the couple and they will respect you and on that basis possibly let you join in.
