moaning single guys

although we have contributed many posts over the last 18mths or so we have been members , we recently changed our user name and we have gone back to new members rolleyes

,anyway back to the topic of our post.
last night we decided to play out , but before we did we went in the chatrooms for a natter and to see if any other couples were out in our area , a single guy started to whisper to us and he seemed a genuine , down to earth well mannered guy , and he asked if we would consider meeting him for a little fun , we dont often do pre- arranged meets as we prefer the off the cuff anonymous type of meet , no reason just our preference anyway we thought , midweek, probably quiet out there so we agreed a time and place (of his choosing by the way) and guess what ..............................the bugger never showed , further more he did,nt even have the decency to txt or call us to say he could`nt make it , well mate if your reading this it was your bloody loss biggrin

:D :D cos we went to our usual haunt and had a great time .
so when i see in future the piles of single guys bellyacheing and whinging about never getting an offer of a meet or no replys to their adds then if this guy is an example of what you have to offer , well we are not surprised couples dont bother , because they are most likely the same as us and got better thnigs to do than go on wild goose chase`s mad

Look if it's a problem, i have asked for leave from the wife, after explaining your situation, she is very understanding in these matters, i am very willing to fill in when the need arises wink

hi i certainly wouldn't have let you down what a moron no wonder single guys get a bad name i hope this bad experience doesn't put you off single guys there are some of us who are 100 per cent genuine i have sent messages and never got replys but hey life goes on i think its a matter of courtesy to reply even if just to say no at least i know then anyway i'll get off my high horse now and i hope you have fun in the future

As single guy I would read profile and ads and if you do not mention single guy then courtesy says do not contact. Pity as having read your profilr in the past i would have loved to meet up but there it goes.

am i shocked by fact a guy has let the side down , no i am not , timewasters give genuine people like me a real bad name and it does get me down sometimes when i read something like your post or get told in the chatroom , keep trying you two , how anybody could not want to meet you (love your pics) i will never know they must be mad . lol pumapaul

dont you just hate that when it happens ... maybe there should be a name and shame list where people who dont show are listed, in order that other people can see who doesnt turn up ???? just a thought

its a fact of internet life..the anonimity that allows couples to select victims without giving out home addresses also gives either party a get out clause, and often one or the other will exploit that..its not only guys that don't follow up, couples do it all the time but because we are a minority, and in demand, the "giving couples a bad name" tag doesn't apply..
personally, i think most guys that agree to a place and a time, "think" they'll come good on the night..its why people are so surprised when they don't show, because their sincerity wasn't in question..the reasons they don't show, assuming they didn't of course, are numerous..genuine reasons being one lol

the internet, and particularly the pace in a chatroom, fuels fantasy for those with such inclinations..many of those fellas will be married, or in relationships..getting out at the drop of a hat at 9pm on a tuesday, might seem plausible enough at the time, but not so easy ten minutes prior to the schedualed departure :lol:
fantasy is warm..the outcomes are predictable and the imaginary script favourable..its cosy, safe and exiting..reality is different,its exciting in a different way, it requires action, its less predictable..doubts creep in...there has to be a decisive point in which someone decides to go through with a meet, or bottle it..usually that point is only minutes before the time they are due to leave, or they'll start out, allowing themselves the option to bin it, en route...its probably an anxious time, and they'll turn off the phone, or fail to make the cancellation call..they'll sweat it out for a while, feeling bad about their indecision, lack of action or having wasted someone's time..fantasy usually comes at a price, in one form or another..but in time, hours, days or weeks..the urge for the tingle of excitement will rise once more wink

maybe in another chatroom, with a different screen nick :wink: and it'll get a whole lot worse, trust me :lol:
the solution? don't spend too much time indulging their desire for descriptive chat..and do what you did..arrange to go somewhere near to a regular playground..if they show up, then its a result, if not, then its no loss..there is no easy way to tell..if they gave you an address, they'll just hide under the bed when you come knocking :lol:
we ain't big on arranging..but we've had FAR more no-shows than turn-out's :lol: we just consider it par for the course..as a previous poster mentioned, the fellas on a "buzz" are more inclined to instigate contact, as was the case with you in the chatroom...oh, and in case you are wondering, no, i'm not a serial no-show acting under an alternative screen nick in the chatroom :lol: i just know these things :wink:.of course, i could be wrong..i often am redface

specially when we arranged to meet a single bi-fem, that sounded very enthusiastic..we arranged a place well away from the perving grounds, and waited...for four hoodies rolleyes

lets not go there..this subject has been covered more times than i care to rememebr and it just wont happen on this site... sorry..

as you quite rightly say..it applies to couples but its never voiced as often or as loud..
yesterday i was let down/disappointed by the actions of three cples...yes three cples in one day
Afternoon meet - no show
so got chatting to someone in a room on here and they wanted to meet, swapped phone nos etc...not another thing was heard from them by the allotted time..hmmmmmmm
so was perusing the ads, and saw one for a hotel meet locally......replied, albeit it was about 8pm so didnt think i had much chance.....surprise, got a positive pm reply and a phone number to ring to arrange it....guess what..nobody answered the phone, went str8 to answer phone..not a single reply to my texts, call or return pm!!
so why did any of them go to the effort of talking to me let alone encourage me to beleive that a meet was on the cards? andwhy no communication at all, even a "no thanks, washing my hair" type answer..who knows!!
this isnt a rant about cples, just a comment that its not just singles who let people down...unreliability is just an an unfortunate aspect of swinging/dogging..no point moaning about it..it happens...... move on .......and you never know, the next meet could be the best meet of yr life!!

of course, with couples there is another aspect, just to complicate the brew lol

thats the issue of "how clued up is the missus"? :lol: often the ole man does all the arranging in the hope that the missus will get all horny at the thought of his little surprise..probably more often than not, she goes fucking mental on him :lol: :lol: we've seen a similar thing whilst out dogging..well, more than once really..ie the guy takes his girlfriend out for a quick bit of hanky panky in the car..but doesn't tell her its a carpark known for rascals..with the interior lights on, she can't see out..fine plan, except the lads will often rap on the window to shout "c'mon luv, suck us off" :lol: :lol:
na, fantasy applies equally to couples..usually the fella half mind :wink: :lol:

why wont it happen on this site? when there are so many people experiencing no shows.i for one would be more than happy to be named when having arranged to meet someone i didnt show(not that it ever happened ) .. this is surely in favour of the no show by not naming ??????

u dont really want me to explain how such a name and shame system can be abused do you?..surely its self explanatory and full of potential pitfalls the consequences of which are not worth thinking about.
if i was clever i would post a link to previous discusions on this subject and more importantly the posts from admin/mods clearly stating that the site will never operate a name and shame policy...but i aint clever... u will just have to trust me ..hahhahah

weve had it happen to us on countless occations,with guys and cpls but mainly guys but you cant moan and groan,if you air your reactions on here your either unindated with mails from guys who are not what your looking for saying there discusted and would never do that or have it pointed out to you by the s/h team you should think yourself lucky were allowing you to use a free site to arrange all this in the 1st place, so we keep quiet and like it was mentioned earlier all the ones that do turn up make up for ones that dont but something we have realised on here is that proberly 80% of the guys using this site are on here simply to have something to wank over while theve got nothing else to do and dont really have the abilty to actually turn up in the 1st place...

maybe the answer is just not to arrange a meet then ???? but that takes away the pre excitment, expectation which pre arrangments make .....? Just wondering dscpl2 do you prefer pre arrangements or just spur of moment meets ???

I think thats the nature of such a free site isnt it- as someone posted earlier your casting your net wider but are bound to reel in aquite a few people who are only interested in the fantasy.
I dont know how many times ive read ads with the words- all replies with photos attached will get a reply- only to not get a reply 90% of the time. In the same vein it must be very very annoying for alot of couples to post specifications then have an inbox fiull of single guys who didnt bother to read them.
Naming and shaming wouldnt work for obvious reasons, people would just reregister with different details time and again and others would use it as a way to discredit others. I recall having someone i met from another swingers site tell me she had been told i was a time waster- which was wierd considering i had never arranged to meet anyone form that site ever. I can only assume it was single guys trying to cut down the competition.

if im being honest, im quite glad (occasionally) that they do
blowing my own trumpet now, i have received a number of compliments (decent guy etc etc) and despite being worn down by the generalisations, if people can take the time to recognise something in me, then great, if they are from people who have seen many come and go, its a bit more special because to a certain degree, their opinion counts

On the rare occasion that I answer an ad, I simply don't bother with those as I see no reason for someone to have my picture in order to dog them, the car park will be dark and if I was Cindy Crawford or Michael Crawford they wouldn't necessarily be any the wiser lol
