No discussion needed. The rules are clear. No mention of specific locations on this forum. Thanks!
i kno that yes but people do dont they
Yes they do. We call them tossers cos they are. They get warned once, if they do it again they are banned. If you can think of a way to force people to read the rules or use their brain before they post, please let me know.
Bluexxx - one possible solution to the rules-reading situation...have a duplicate set of rules written in poor-grammar, featuring lots of street-culture terminology. That the poor uneducated under-21-year-olds, who have spent the last 5 years of their school life playing truant and who are unwilling / unable to understand the English Language when written properly, can have a second chance at getting ya drift...know worramean Yor??? Innit??? cool
Now that is a good idea smile :) :) . Mark needs to add that one to his to do list, definately! wink

Blue - just a thought - is there any way that some sort of reminder in the form of a 'pop-up' could be added for all postings in the 'Dogging' section? Like if you try and post an ad. without a title.. it won't let you proceed and you get a message.
For example; as someone hits the 'submit' button, a 'pop-up' with words to the effect of "by hitting 'ok', users acknowledge that naming specific locations in their postings will cause them to be banned". That way, they've had their 1st warning and it might save you some 'policing'.
Just a thought - may have been done before but still fairly new here and like rules and the way this place is 'policed' as most sites are lousy.

Dunno, maybe, but the techie side is Mark's domain. I would personally prefer any person who submits exact locations to receive a massive electric shock via their mouse. That should stop the buggers doing it no more than once cool

Ah, but what if they enjoyed that?

I would imagine it would work rather like the PM system here, if you dont post a subject on a initial PM it rekects and says ooii subject in a more polite manner, so I would have thought it was possible
then again, what do I know of coding, enough to destroy a comp when I tried running my nice new selfwritten software on it for the first time sad
Hate to be the fly in the ointment here, but being slightly techie savvie with message boards, I know that it would take a chunk of technical know-how to recode the page (which when written in the PHP programming language isn't easy) I'm not saying it can't be done, just that it would cost Mark to do it, and why should he foot the bill?
Unless of course there is someone here with PHP programming skills that charges less than £500-£750 per day for his consultancy services???
Still think that entering the names of popular and known dogging locations into the "Banned Words" list would be the simplest effective way forward for now at least.

Just had another thought.
If there are any budding musicians here, who wouldn't mind donating their time and efforts, free of charge in return for some instant nationwide fame, and the knickers of all of Tom Jones's fans who cant's throw them at Tom Jones any more, the rules could form the lyrics to "hip-hop" , or "heavy metal" or "R&B" songs which could be downloaded as MP3 files off the site. 8-) That might get the message across, if only out of curiosity lol
