hiya i am mark and i am new to the sceneand i wondering if i went to a dogging site on my own would i be able to meet anyone whithout taking a partner?

This may have been more appropriate in the dogging forum, but never mind, and welcome to the site!
You ask about meeting people but who do you want to meet? Men, women, couples? If its loads of single doggers, then you will have no problems, and if you fancy looking at the boy racers in their fancy cars, then again, you will not be disapointed!
Single females are a much rarer breed and there are not many of them around, which is understandable for obvious safety reasons. Couples are a little more commen than the female, but again, it depends where you go and when.
Your attitude to dogging will also be a major factor in who you meet. If you expect to get quick easy sex, then you are probably in the wrong game. If you are willing to sit around for hours and hours, and then when you think you are at your wits end, you are still willing to wait around for another few hours, then you just may be in with a chace!

As NWC has already elequently put, patience is the name of the game.
My partner and I are both anticipating our first experience, but as you read alot of the posts on here concerning some of the downfalls of the dogging scene at the moment, it is very wise to take your time and be patient.
It is a matter of getting the trust of those around you, either on these pages or in a car park or where ever it may be, because of all the unsavoury characters that now frequent some of the well known dogging sites, and some of the least well known too.
If like us you love driving about and looking for suitable spots, inevitably you will bump into some other like minded people, and then maybe if you are really lucky, the fun can start, but if you just want to post " Where is all the action at...tell me " then there aint much hope for you, not that I am saying that is what you are going to do, but beleive me....some do.
As regards to whether or not you would have much success on your own, so much is dependant on those that are putting on the show, and it depends what your definition of "success" really is. For instance, our definition would be to find a secluded spot, get down with it together, a few people watching, and maybe joining in through the window at our pace not theres.
Unfortunately we have read on here that there are many guys who seem to think that just because a show is put on for them that they have a God given right to a free and easy shag. That certainly isnt what we are looking for in our fist experience and I am sure not too many on here would be, although as always there are exceptions (0:
