New-ish to the scene and don't want to go at it like the proverbial bull in a China shop! Checked out this and a few other sites, gone to a few (ok a lot ) of the locations listed and met some great people (Milton Keynes - you know who you are ;-)). Unfortunately, I am having no luck at all in my local area (North Wales).
I get the feeling I'm doing something wrong
1. Could be that I'm going to the wrong places (Parc Menai and happy valley)
2. Wrong time (about 9 in winter and in summer)
3. Looking for the wrong signals (what are the right ones)
4. Or I've got a face like a rally drivers mudflap!
Any and all help/pointers gratefully accepted!

Parc Menai is supposed to be a known location - how about Holyhead or is that to far out for you? without saying exactly where i can think of two parks that you may strike lucky at!

I live in holyhead infact I am on the doorstep of the place one goes for dogging (no I have never tried it, yet!!) its a good little area but can be a bit open in the winter I have just moved here and at the moment the wind and the rain are just over the top. However in the summer or on night's when its mild the site does have some great potential.
