What on earth has happened to dogging in the North West???? Granted, I am an average-Joe single male and you don't expect to bump into couples every time you go out, but I've been visitng the well known site in the Wigan/Leigh vacinity (and also the 2 known sites in Warrington - one of which has been blocked up), and there's been nothing in the last couple of weeks.
Sure, the police have been out in force lately which may be putting folk off, and I may just be unlucky in going at the wrong times, but it does seem that in these areas, dogging is in decline.
Perhaps there are some couples out there who will restore my faith and we can have a pre-arranged meet somehwre in the North West. ANY TAKERS?????????
THE NEXT TOPIC: DOGGING IN DECLINE? DISCUSS!
Drexx, you are definately looking in the wrong places, or at the wrong times hun! We went to our usual site two weeks ago, now it was quite late (about ) but, and this is gods honest truth, we were the only ones in the bloody car park!
We had a fantastic time (on our own) by the side of the car, behind the car, in front of the car and in numerous other places in what is a very large car park  and there was not a single human dogger in sight! The only thing we saw (or who saw us) was Mr Fox off on his night jaunt!
So dont give up, keep trying, I am sure things are just a little quieter than usual due to hols etc.

!

actually this is becoming my pet hate on the site.... The sympathy shag!!! why do people expect swingers to feel bad over someone plight and think..." i know what i'll do.....i open my legs so they can have their faith restored!!!"
i am so taking this to the steam room......
Fabio, be fair, Drexx wants a sympathy watch, not a shag! (Drexx, I have an old Timex, you're more than welcome to it wink )

Now that's a waste (for us, not you!!).....will someone please make sure they find the Wiggies in flagrante next time please!!! biggrin
Thanks 'dipity (whoops, getting a bit personal now) lol next time we are going to take a 'loud hailer' and puy notices up on all the local lamp posts so everyone will know we are there
Drexx is a very nice guy and we have chatted loads, he just need to syncronise his watch
it does sem that the fun s occuring later these days. The best fun i have had recently has been between 1 and 3 in the morning. Its usually better as well as the boy racers have gone and those with no regard for etiquette have given up.
I agree with the Wiggies, its a timing issue.
Hello my Wigan Chums
I understand what you are saying about the time thing but on Saturday night I was at the place we know and love from to ...........with just the Saxo and Nova brigade to keep me company - so I am fully aware of the timing thing.
As for Fabio Grooverider (double identity thing going on there - which one are you??) I don't think asking a couple if they would like some attention in the DOGGING SECTION OF THE FORUM NO LESS!!! is a bad thing - and I certainly wasn't playing for the sympathy vote but opening up a discussion that dogging MAY be in decline due to police clapmpdowns and boy racers - themes we are all too familiar with.
Serendipity - when you decide to visit us up North, be sure to drop the Timex off in person. Is it one of those funky 80s ones with a calculator and a backlight - I like those xxxxxxx
Well you just want it all don't you? dogging, sympathy and a light up watch!!! lol
Looks like it might be true though, the well known spots are forcing the doggers into having their fun later after boy racer bedtime.
It's not really a new thing though is it? I can remember when I was in my teens and people had their first cars, we'd often go for a zoom around the lanes and park up at a car park to chat, look at the cars etc (often because it was too close to payday and we couldn't afford to go to a pub!)....you must have all done the same too biggrin <quick nostalgic ahhhhh>
There is one big difference now though, most of us were blissfully unaware that our presence was spoiling a doggers night out - now kids in cars know far too much! sad
Serendip - you can remember your teen years? I thought it would've all been one big haze merged into one for you??!!
Oooh you cheeky monkey, it wasn't that long ago!!! lol
Ahh yes, but it's us cheeky monkeys that are just so adorable.
That's why I might let you take me to lunch this Thursday when I'm in the Big Schmoke!!
For the record, my teenage years were spent with a Redneck style haircut, ripped jeans, a silly USA bandana and tunes from Poison, Bon Jovi, Richard Marx (ouch!) and Guns n Roses blazing out of my stereo. Even in my late teens, the mere thought of driving around for rumpety in car parks was enough for me to break out in a cold sweat.
Now where were we, lunch, Thursday, Tottenham Court Road....ah yes!
I have often wondered how many times me and my young loves had accidently put on a show. Gets me very hot thnking about it. Why did i learn about dogging so late in life? lol
sad
Sorry Serendip - i didn't mean to scare you off!
I will tackle the bright lights and big city of London all on my lonesome. I'm a big boy now anyway xxxxxx

i think we can all remember the days of our youth when we had just got our first cars.
trouble with the youngsters of today is they dont have an once of respect :( they think it is great fun to fly around the carpark like knobs trying to intimiadate people by shining main beam on them and blowing their horns mad :x .
we know of a number of couples who are put of by this sort of behaviour but hey why bother lets just all go with the pc brigade rolleyes after all the little darlings are just letting off steam :( sorry about the moan but i dont half feel better now :D :D :D
Hi RIck and Jools, I think we must have visited the same car parks, lol
I don't think Serendipity was trying to condone the actions of the anti-social little what nots I the point was the innocence of youth in the good old days.
As for me when i was a lad, (slightly after the red flag pedestrian was dispensed with) the driving like an idiot was done on the way to and from country locations and not at them. Certainly the boy racers have ruined several dogging sites in our area. However, its interesting to note that this only happened after the sites hit the headlines in local media.
So its not just the anti social racers to blame, shame on us doggers for getting carried away posting details on the net and letting things gets so busy that the word got out. Before this I don't think they had clue what was going on, now they think its a laugh trying to expose all of us "stan collymores".
Like you Rick and Jools, i apologise for ranting but I feel better now.
I'd rather be a Stan Collymore than a Phil Mitchell though Joe, wouldn't you agree. I was reading in Empire magazine that big Stan has a role in a big movie coming up very soon - I think it's Basic Instinct 2 - ha! Catherine Tremell, an Ice pick, Stan and a secluded forest car park....................Oscars here we come!
hi drex, as regards looks then yes I would rather be a collymore. But given his alleged treatment of women, (ie the beating) I think I would rather be ugly phil.
I think we can safely say it was more than alleged - he openly admitted. I agree completely - violence against women = v bad.
Quotes about violence against women from yesteryear though - sometimes funny:
Humphrey Bogart: "I never met a woman who didn't understand a slap in the mouth or a slug from a '45"
I must speak to my Grandmother and ask her if beating and/or shooting women was really that poplular in the 40s!!!
Before the barrage starts, not my words, the words of Humphrey Bogart, okay?
drexx
surely those quotes prove the saying "beware of the actor or popstar pontificating on society, fame is not intrinsically linked to intelligence or wisdom"
As for your knowledge of cinema I am impressed.
Joe
ne'er has a truer word been spoken
As for watching too many movies, I'm usually portrayed to be a sad gimp. So now I go dogging instead!
Drexx
NowI see your affinity with Stan the man, he liked to watch telly and dvd's in his car whilst waiting for action in the car parks!
Certainly beats reading the Sun cover to cover five times, after all that only takes 20 minutes.
Can you watch too many movies?
You can never watch too many movies.
Tonight, I am having a viewing of my all time favourite movie - Boogie Nights. Last night, I watched my third fave - Natural Born Killers. The others in my top 5: at 2: True Romance, at 4: Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid and at 5: Stand By Me
Jaws 4: The Revenge and Weekend at Bernie's 2 are pushing for contention aswell though.
As for Stan's plush LCDs in his car, I think I need a better job.

Before this I don't think they had clue what was going on, now they think its a laugh trying to expose all of us "stan collymores" .hi there lol i had no intention of having a pop at seredipity it was just a personal expression  when i was in my late teens (early 70s ) my first car was a 59 mk2 zodiac a very unfogiving beast if you drove it like a clown , then again i didnt have mummy and daddy buying me a brand new clio or saxo or whatever eurobox might take their fancy (now iam begining to sound like a bitter and twisted old fart rolleyes ) it just seems kids today get all their own way and have very little regard for anyone else other than themselves days gone by will never return sadly
weve found the little known or well out the way places are best and its suprising how many other couples must be thinking along same lines wink so your quite right tell em bugger all and leave them to hit fences and bloody big boulders and rip their tyres to shreds    then they can go home and explain why to mummy and daddy ahh poetic justice i love it
Like you Rick and Jools, i apologise for ranting but I feel better now.[/quo
lol
Cor, with this much ranting we'll be able to open a dogging annexe on the steam room in the Cafe!
Rick & Jools, no worries, I got your meaning and yes, the youth of today have no respect - ban 'em, ban 'em all! wink
<totters off on zimmer, grumbling and tutting>
WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET PEOPLE IN THE NORTH WEST

It'll take more than your green leotard and your dodgy 80s rock history to scare me!! I'm not in that London on Thursday though so lunch is out....sorry Drexxy :(
(hey, you weren't just after a sympathy lunch were you? wink )
Naughty Wigan Couple.
sounds good to me. Next time you are out give me a shout.
An empty car park indeed - Not if i'd known you were there ;o)
And before i'm flamed - I do keep a look out on the Dogging forum.
