I was in the Northants Pervert Meeting Area on said Friday night.
Not a lot about, the usual guy-on-guy stuff plus two gals dildo-ing each other in a lane. A TV getting her nighly anal massage and the usual 20-quid-a-throw and her "minder".
I could have gone to the outer markers of the area....but a lot of the guys are getting fed-up with the tourists now !
No, I was knowhere near the A43. I just don't rate it. Too well known and too crowded. Same people, same cars and all this one-way and no-right-turn is too much for me, not to mention that nobody obeys them anyway. It WAS good, about 4 years ago, but then this place and others turned all the known ones into one big sex cruising site...besides, I usually see someone I know and then spend time chatting....
I did get told you and your other part had started running a burger van....nice...and was told to avoid the mayonaisse (I think it was a joke....doggers style !)
In any case, I work a few miles away from the place so I keep away....as others know....I don't like crowded...and the 43 site is usually that...both of them.
Although I hear that tenders are being sought to reduce the overgrowth in the copse between the road and layby.....but they couldn't get it done a few years ago...so I doubt if it'll happen anytime soon. No cash.
nope - the burger van is nothing to do with us - but - busy we do like - its not all sex - we chat to a lot of people and theres a good social scene going on there - but the good thing about busy - it means we dont have to rely on anyone to turn up - we get a lot of ppl who arrange to meet who dont show - so at a busy site theres plenty of guys so the nights not wasted.
I have yet to see anything at all on the A43 other than cars driving past. Once I was parked in the layby and a TV came along offering handjobs, but that's about it. I have never seen any couples at all on the A43.
Last night I tried a new venue in Northants and thought my luck was in when I found a campervan with a couple sat in it with the lights on. I sat for an hour further down the carpark waiting and some jerk in a van parked right alongside them causing them to leave.
Typical.
It's all about personal taste I suppose, some like it hot....sort of thing....and others like it slow....
Since I don't do the joining-in thing (watcher only) I find the laybys to be contraindicated....the reservoir is better from my point of view....less headlights !
the prob with the res is yes there are less cars but all that ever happens there is a load of guys sitting in their cars waiting in vain for a couple to turn up and put on a show - this does happen every 6 months or so - so theres something for the old school dogger to look forward to . If you want couples then fri and sun ( sats can be a funny night) are the nights to be at the A43. One tip tho - if you sit in your car all night waiting for something to happen then you will be disappointed - the trick is to get out the car and talk to , you make your own luck - no one except the gays will go to you - you have to go and find your fun. we go dogging 4 - 5 nights a week and always both get lucky. But then - we are doers and not watchers.
What side of the A43 is best for cpls. Towards Kettering or Northampton ?

I have little interest in chatting, there are far too many old-wives tales passed-on. I usually know somebody there, or will pick-up on the resident and get the info that way. In any case, northants is pretty well packed with places to go....the trouble (as I see it) with the laybys is that they are going to be well sorted soon....the no-right and one-way are trying to stop the nutters killing people with their dim driving, in which it fails because they pay no attention to them !

For a couple, either. But in my humble opinion the Northampton-bound one....you can go forward into the gateway and the cars parked near will screen you if the bill wander in. But then, they don't much care anyway !
the A43 isnt really suitable for cpls - best to go to pitsford - unless you enjoy being surrounded by cars with their lights on - being surrounded by lorry drivers and being followed home.
If any guys come round looking for cpls we always direct them to pitsford.

the best way to see what happens at a dogging site is to actually go and see for yourself rather than relying on reports from people who weren't there . 
could'nt stay to long as i'd only pulled in with the wagon for a pee 
& I had a drivers mate with me :cry: .
