...........does that mean that even more doggers will reject the idea of people that just " show " rather than play ? Is it less likely you will be willing to pull the old plonker for the ladies viewing pleasure if the frost is a little close at hand ?

Some of my fondest memories are in adverse weather. Can even remember one night when doggers were in their cars for 2 mins to warm up, then out on a show for 2 mins before they were frozen to bits, then back to their cars for 2 mins to warm up etc etc.
So don't worry about the weather...it's what God created fleeces and Goretex for!
Don't care what the weather is (well almost anyway) or whether you're showing or playing, Im always up for it.
Went out the other night, though dark it was a bit early and a few dog walkers about and it was absolutely freezing, even the dogs didn't want to get out of the car!
I have always had good circulation in my extremities, my hands are always warm too,
