Picnic area - opposite Kilkenny Inn, Andoversford, Glos

Great spot for a bit of daytime dogging. Very quiet car park with lots of picnic tables and little walks for more private action. Only 5 to 10mins from Birdlip which is now far too busy with lots of work going on etc. This car park is perfect for couples who want a quiet but suitable dogging location.

I am working out that way a lot. What time of the day is this site used the most?

I popped there last week. Its a perfect location, just out the way of the main road but plenty of seclusion.

I think I'll keep heading up and see who's around, maybe I'll get lucky 😉

Shame Gloucester aren't playing today as I would have driven right past it!

We are looking for a new place .. Birdlip and the A417 are still good to us and the Birdlip view has stopped any work which is great .. but always nice to see somewhere else. Can you be more precise as I am looking on Google maps at somewhere opposite the inn and don't see anywhere specific although there is a lot of roads leading off near there? Is it Kilkenny view?

On Google maps it’s marked as ‘Hilcot Viewpoint’ - the coordinates are ( , - ) - if you drop that into Google Maps it should take you straight there.

The right before the pub heading towards the A40. Great secluded spot, table & benches and wooded area.

When is the best day and time to meet here? I’ve tried quite a few different times but has been deserted:-(

Been going up to scout the place out this week. This place is absolutley spot on for a dogging spot! Beautiful, super quiet, large and easy to find somewhere away from the car park for some extra privacy. My GF and I have not had any luck here yet, but there is so much potential!! Dont forget to bring a coat or jumper as it can get quite windy.

Well, I’m only 15 minutes away. Available all day, everyday :-)

Lol I’ve been sat here for the past hour. Quite nice in the rain. Less hikers in bad weather and always dry in the car :-)
