yes it does happen, but that really depends where you are and what time of year.
Most sites are not ideal for daytime fun as ther are frequented by ramblers, dog walkers etc and a call to the old bill is the likely result. But others, where they are surrounded by woods etc can be worth a daytime visit in the summer.
I once stopped at a site I know in the lake district for a rest while I was driving past. Only ever been there at night before and was not expecting action. However, after reading the paper for a few minutes another car turned up and a couple got out and stood smoking cigarettes while they looked at me. Then they walked off towards the forest next to the car park, but kept looking back at me and smiling. I got out and followed and found them on a mat in the trees getting down to action. They saw me watching but I didn't get an inviotation to join in.
Clearaly it's not the time of year when you will find much out of car action, and I don't know of anywhere nearby where in car action is likely to be safe in daylight. But if you know different....
