Question for the newer members - Why do you go dogging?

We have had loads and loads of new members joining in the forums over the last few days, so why dont we all try and have a little chat (like we used to do on here) find out a little bit more about each other and why we all do dogging.
So come on, tell us why you go dogging?
Is it just in the hope of seeing a couple having fun, do you like some form of participation, or do you expect to get full involvement? Do you really know what dogging is?
For us, dogging is all about the exitment and thril of 'being caught' by someone. We dont normally do pre-arranged meets (so please stop pm'ing us for meets), we dont want participation and dont really mind if no-one is actually around, we just get on with our own fun, ususally on the spur of the moment.
So come on 'Newer' members of the dogging forums, tell us 'oldies' all about why you go dogging and what you want from it. wink

OK, me first..
I used to go dogging (before I met Mr Bloke) as a gay bloke that likes the masculine, blokey bi-types that dogging sites attract (as opposed to some of the flimsy gay guys around). I liked the 'chance' factor and the uncertainty of not knowing what might happen (usually not a lot) wink

I also prefer watching MF (as opposed to MM) in real life or in porn films... so do a lot of my gay mates... don't know why but I do dunno

Why do i go dogging, well it makes me happy and it makes my hubby happy and when we go out we try to make the people we meet happy , and thats before the fun starts.

hmmmm why do we go dogging , cos we get a buzz from it , whether putting a show on for a single guy (we dont do multiples) or playing with other like minded couples its just fun wink

I don't know about anyone else but Dogging has become like a drug for me. I don't smoke, drink very little and have never taken drugs and by the way I'm addicted to Dogging I'm glad I've never tried anything else. I'd never get off it. confused

It's the chance encounter, it's the excitement of getting caught, it's the 'what if' when you put your light on, it's chatting to 'friends' about subjects you would NEVER talk about with your normalfriends. redface

I like to park up next to a couple, wait till I'm half certain and then put back my seat, pull down my pants, and slowly rub myself. I open the door and look to see if they're looking. If they are I'll put a small light on that just about shows what I'm doing. :twisted:
It certainly works for me and I just LOVE IT!

This is a very good post.
This is something that has always phased me.
If you are a couple with no children who like to be watched, swap, play etc. Why do it in a car park when you have a comfortable bedroom at home?
However if you have children etc doing it in a car is a viable alternative.
If I am am going to have sex with a woman I want it to be longlasting and quite extravegent difering rooms, tables situationsetc. Not just in the backseat of a car.
But thats me I maybe a little too straight laced ?

For me its the anticipation, the waiting to to see what will happen. I would certainly not expect any involvment but that would be a bonus. For now, as a newbie to the whole scene, its the frisson I get as a new car pulls up (usually carrying yet another single guy) but living in hope is what living is all about....

For a lot of couples (and this is me passing on what I've been told here as I watch rather than show) it's the unpredictability.
If you have someone else come to your home, you know who's coming and at what time, you know what's going to happen. With dogging, you don't know whether anyone will show up to watch you, how long they might take to get there or indeed who they are. Anonymity is a big factor, exhibitionsm is another. It's a trade between exhibitionist and voyeur, equal pleasure without expectation (in a perfect world, sadly there are plenty of doggers who expect more!).
The chances of someone coming to your home just to watch are slim....and not everyone is comfortable exposing their home to a relative stranger. Dogging doesn't require you to wait for an advert to be replied to. There's also the thrill of doing something a little more risky and "naughty" than sex in your own bed.
I don't think you're straight laced mw123, you just don't have the mindset of someone involved in dogging, your post focuses mostly on physical interaction whereas dogging has its roots in exhibitionism/voyeurism....and the ]majority of couples who participate in dogging have been together for a while, so the comfy bed, kitchen table, bathroom etc have probably already been witness to the fun!
From my dogger perspective, it's more clandestine which has a thrill factor of its own...and it's also a situation where I have a more equal footing as I'm not on someone elses territory i.e. their home, so there is way less expectation to play.
Not a perfect explanation I know, but I hope it helps you understand us all a bit....I'm sure some of the couples in here will be able to add to this biggrin

serendipity has our sentiments wrapped up in a nutshell, so little to add there..not much time to reply, as the forum technicalities of the new look swingingheaven aren't so tolerant of my epic replies..BUT
on boxing day, mrs dirty and i will, no doubt, we walking somewhere on the north norfolk anticipate that the beaches and marshes will be visited by birdwatchers, dressed in green, with bobble hats, fingerless mitts and beards..the guys will be of similar appearance.(for any lady ornithologists, that was a cheap quip, and of no serious intent) lol

they will spend most of the day hoping to spot a scarce migrant, and in their quest, they will have scant regard for the bracing winds or rain, they'll just put their collars up a little higher, and pull their hats down a little further..
there will also, no doubt, be people visiting wildlife sanctuaries and zoo's, who, in the comfort of heated avaries, will wonder why anyone would wish to endure often fruitless days in search of a creature that they can so easilly see for a token payment, and with little frustration and expenditure of precious time ..
each is a valid option, but way different on an emotional level..

well i can be honest , ive never been dogging , not through want of trying tho lol , ive visited a few places but there was never anything going on lol, they must have my heard my scots accent lol....why did i go ? well two reasons ,,,1: i fancy the idea of watching someone in action ....2: well an invite to join would be nice .........i love adventure and well ........doggings an adventure aint it ??

ahh, but then you have been dogging, and are, in principle at least, a dogger lol

dogging is the whole, not merely defined by the results, which at best, are infrequent.

Why do I go dogging? (or as I say to myself on most nights...why oh why oh why do I go dogging? lol

Someone mentioned the "drug" factor. And I think that is something to do with it. It's addictive. Just like fishermen wait for hours or days to get a bite, so us doggers are waiting for days and weeks sometimes to get a show. But when you get one, then it makes everything else worthwhile. Just that feeling of getting that bite of the forbidden fruit. Being able to view or share in an intimate moment with an honest average suburban couple, instead of the False Celebrity Fantasies that thne media bombards us with. To be able to stick two fingers up at the preachers and teachers who tell us what we should and shouldn't do, and have some fun that the puritanicals would want to deny us. All that then comforts me in the wait for the next show...whenever that may be... redface

Most of the reasons why we go dogging have already been covered by others,we like the buzz we get,the anticipation of what may happen and like NWC with us its always spur of the moment never pre-arranged.
Also since we have been going out we have met and made good friends with other doggers,couples and single males alike,to name just a few, singledogger,harry jones, the master and not forgetting Mr & Mrs Dirty "aka" Dirtydoggers who we met when we were dogging newbies and who were the audience at our very first show :eeek: .
We have spent many evenings at our local site and knickers and bra,s have remained firmly in place but just the social side has made it an enjoyable night out,although the numerous single males who though xmas had come early seeing two scantily clad females in one place may not fully agree with me.
I dont know if this reply made sense but i,me not a drinker and i,me on the third large glass of wine already,but what the heck its xmas.

I have been out and about for maybe 18 months now as a single guy. I do find it addictive - I think it is the anticipation of getting a surprise show or even action that fuels that addiction. I suppose a lot of the population would think of it as slightly pervy perhaps sitting around carparks and I would hate to get caught but I just think if everybody is happy and getting fun and not bothering anyone else then I can't see what is wrong.

Well UpNready4u, you may be new to it all, but you certainly got the right idea and are definately the type of bloke we like to see when we are out (oh no, that sounds like a come on, honest its not, I not a flirt) wink

It might be worth having a read at the thread which Mal did about dogging (at the top of the page) which gives some advice for couples as well as singles out dogging. But the best advice I could give your girlfriend, is only do what you feel comfortable with, and if any time you feel uncomfortable, drive off and go home! There will be plenty more opportunities, so dont rush it lol

Upnready4u - glad to hear you've had some voyeurstic success! WRT going out with your girlfriend, do you intend to reverse the roles and be watched? Wasn't sure if you meant that or you want to play with another couple?
Also not sure what your definition of "wrong type" is? probably need to clarify that to get the right advice biggrin

Well, call me selfish (solo dogger here) but you don't need a couple to be watched! :twisted:
Anyone with a voyeuristic nature will have the same response, single, couple, male, female and your other half might find that the vocal or visual appreciation shown by any audience is a turn on. Obviously if you want to watch, you need to find a couple for that though!
As for the wrong types, what you've described aren't real doggers imho, real doggers are respectful and will defer to whatever rules you set (not too close, no touching etc etc). If you find people who won't listen, then leave the car park, end of.
If you do find a couple with a bi-fem then you need to be very clear that your other half wants to be touched by may not do so in return - very very clear, because what you're describing is to an extent outdoor swinging, and not all couples will want to give but not receive and your partner may not want you to touch the other woman either!
Hope that helps a bit - it can get a bit complicated so just be precise in what you want wink

Hi all,
I have heard so much about this dogging that now I want to try it but if there is anywhere around Blackpool its not well known apart from the gay area which has been in the paper over the last few years. If anyone can point me in the right direction please do so.
