Hi there, I'm a 27 year old straight guy, relatively new to the 'dogging scene' and was wondering about dogging locations in and around the South Manchester area. I realise that it isn't a good idea to put the exact locations of the sites down but was wondering if anyone had any advice or clues about locations please?
I would be attending both with my partner and also on my own.

I think what the guys are trying to say is how can a newcumer learn the more useful details. I know 2 site really near me and I am sure the guys above know places. What is more secretive are times, dates, exact positions in locations, protocol and ettiquette. I know it can all be read about but who would feel confident going alone and sitting in their car and guessing their way through the whole thing. So Slut, thanks for pointing ot the lists to the left but they tell me nothing I didnt already know. Daytime dogging is something I would like to know about as it becomes harder to spot a fellow dogger from joe public in a carpark for example. I realise to meet someone or go with someone is best but the voyeur may not want to go down that route.

Cricket and sclee1uk, you all make some good points but you cant seriously expect peole to just go ahead and tell people about exact times, locations etc when the dont know you. Loads of posts on here at the moment talk about the dangers out there both with the police and with the boyracers/idiots, so you got to think, how do we know you are not one of these? Elli was actually being very helpful by pointing you to the list above.
You are probably all very genuine, nice people, who are very keen to start dogging but if people dont know you or anything about you, then they wont give out information.
Think about dogging before the internet and before the text message sites. How did people find out about it then? They went out and spent hour on hour sat in car parks waiting for things to happen, and for the majority of couples, these are the doggers we want to meet, not the ones who just want to come along and join an internet group and have all the information thrown at them.
I really do hope that you take this post in the spirit that it is meant, and that is to say to you that if you want to get involved, then join in the conversations on here, get yourself known and let your personality come through, once people know you are genuine, they will start to tell you what is going on and when. However be aware that this wont happen over night. Trust takes time to be built and this could be a long job. If you havent got time to wait, or dont want to wait, then maybe dogging is not for you!

We have not been out for a couple of weeks but I have just had a pm from someone who regularly goes to 'our' usual site and it seems the police have been hanging around again. They actually threatended to lock someone up if they were not prepared to leave and knowing the person involved, he is not the type of person to cause bother with the police or be agressive in any way!
So it looks like things wil be quiet again for a while, but does it stop us? No, we 'get on our bikes' and go and find the new places WITHOUT ASKING FOR SITE DETAILS ON THE INTERNET! (now I really sound like a politician)

My initial question wasn't for exact locations etc as I realise this can lead to the wrong type of people showing up, I was really just trying to ask for some advice and tips.
I also realise that as a new contributor to the forum I am inevitably not going to suddenly become the first name on every invite to every event, I certainly wouldn't be giving out details to somebody I had only ever seen on here once before.

i've tried to go dogging several times in both sites in stockport and the closest i ever being to dogging was seen the end of GingerJo's "show" and a guy sucking another guy! lol (i'm stright btw) i have spent hours and hours both in weenends and weekday nights in these locations but it seems i'm probably the most unlucky guy ever!
if i was to try any other location i would have to travel quite a bit and to think i'll be sat in my car car two hours to go home and no action really puts me off!
with the increase in police activities around these areas i can't see myself ever seen any action!

All I can say is that if you were a genuine dogger then you would be prepared to drive that bit further, to sit and wait that bit longer and if necessary, go out every single night!

Well all I can say trainman is that it is a good job for the nice genuine guys like you or we would all end up at the clubs
sorry i don't think i explained well! all i said is i did expend hours and hours in known doggin places and have not seen anything! and everytime i think in going somewhere further i can't help but think "what if nothing happens?"

well mate the sites you are on about are ten mins from me ....i dont use them ...why i hear you cry ....cause all i have seen there is single guys and the plod....
so i go other sites its worth a try ....i now have to look for other sutes after a run in with the wigan county plod the other night ....... until other car back on road
