we were in this carpark on Sun the11th july we were about to leave a white transit van 04 reg long wheel base came in front of us headlights full on three big guys in it we started to go they blocked are way we reversed and got to the other exut it has 2 roads they waited for us to set off and the went at the same time we just got ahead of them where the roads meet they were shouting abuse i am sure they were going to rob us or worse i think they were Gipsys we have been dogging for 20 years so are aware what can happen we would have had no chance if we had not been please be carefull if you use this carpark dogging is becomeing very very dangerous

Yeah, it should really be in the warnings but thanks for posting this anyway. It's a heads up for anyone using this location. Dogging is now very dangerous thanks to the press letting every dickhead know what people get up to in car parks

i went down there last teatime cos gingerjo had told me whe had heard there was a gipsey encampment in field at back of car park..this is true..hundreds of them...so all doggers be very careful there....recommended to avoid until they move on..am local to there so will check and advise when car park is safe again..

Thanks for the info. We have been there a couple of times so will avoid for a bit. This is really worrying - especially following the thread on Sale Waterpark. Anyone got any suggestions for alternative venues in the south manchester area.
to all those following this post..i visited Tiviot on monday night..just to check out whther gypsies were still there...good news is that they have gone..so hopefully we can return to dogging there now
