For people that visit a site near a chinese restaurant in the croydon area be aware that the local kids are now sitting in wait near the restaurant and when a car is spied entering the lower car parks they charge down :cry: . I know this as i sat and watched in amazement last night from the safety of my tree wink

I watched them drive into both lower car parks and flash their lights then park up and walk to the restaurant and chat very loudly about nothing of any use, until a car pulled in and they ran at break neck speed.
If you use this area, drive up to the restaurant first before pulling into the lower car parks to ensure that the little children are not about.

Thanks for the warning Beebeep, that's one of my local sites to avoid ( at least until its past kiddies bedtime anyway!)

there again last night, in an N reg silver corsa, but they had to go home as it was bed time. And thank you to the lovely lady and her man that put the show on for us. Made me sleep so much better.

My experience of that place is it's OK from dusk till about 11, after that timethe lads come out well tanked up and get very agressive. I've had stones thrown at my car & a car window smashed. Some people take pleasure in stopping others from enjoying their pleasure. I've also been approached agressively in the car park in front of the restaurant.
Pity! A few years ago it used to be a good spot. But now rather deserted late on for the above reasons.
I would welcome news of any suitable alternatives as I'm a late night prowler.
