Having spent many a long and fruitless night sitting in the car parks of the West midlands,well actually one in particular in the North of the city. I worry about the West Midlands. Many other areas seem more active. Maybe the quality of dogging is like its industry in decline!
I am only making a semi-serious point however, I wonder if the cold weather prevents the Brummie and Black Country men and women from coming out. It certainly doesn't upset this tough Northern Lad!
Come on the people of the West Midlands forget Corrie and Eastenders go out and have some fun.

There may well be but those in the know are certainly keeping it to themselves. If you know of anywhere not on the sites please drop me an e-mail I am more than happy to go somewhere different. Luckily the reception were I go is excellent so I get to hear a lot of the radio but why does this modern music all sound the same...I don't know bring back the Four Seasons.

the well-known places are just that - well-known! We used to have some great times with the locations before they became media attention hot-spots with sometimes up to 7 blokes politely watching the show.
now though, it seems that unless you get your kit off and open the door within 2 minutes of switching your engine off, you're greeted with downright rudeness etc which is why we hardly bother going out now. instead we just go for a drive and stop when we feel like it.
some folk want more than just a show and that attitude scares my wife so we tend to try and pick our spots more carefully and avoid the well-known ones especially as you now get hoardes of drunken drug-taking boy racers playing music louder than the local disco and doing wheel spins etc.

Not all dogging sites are like that A+D certainly there are a few like that but dont tar them all with same brush and put off potential couples from appearing. Where I go it certainly has had its problems in the past but the boy racer phase seemed to have passed and if a couple do appear as far as I am aware they are treated with the utmost of respect and only do what they want to do with no demands from anyone

Being a relative newcomer to the West Midlands area I have been to the locations listed, with mixed results. Dogging by its nature is a bit like that some times you can have a load of luck and fun other nights its sat there for a few hours listening to the radio.
I take the view if nothing happens then all I have done is spend a couple of hours listening to the radio instead of watching telly or being on the pc. If anything does happen its a bonus and I treat it like one!
I have to say I dropped into a local dogging spot on Tuesday night and had the pleasure of two couples in the same night........a rare occurence I know!

Must agree, it does seem to have really gone down hill, perhaps some new sites are needed, while we wait for the boy racer phase to go, and the police to lose interest.
Also hopefully the lull will disinterest those single males that obvioulsy are not members of here otherwise they wouldn't behave in a way that spoils it for the rest of the doggers and couples that know what its all about!

We was out last winter and only got stuck in the middle of nowhere on a lonely car park on the ice bit of a bugger that............Once bit twice shy lol.
Still do the odd foray from time to time but we are swingers through the cold times

I'm not sure if the weather is so much to do with it, as otherwise you would be over-run by couples showing off all around you in the warmth of Summer...and that doesn't happen either.
Theory 1 - areas with the best swingers clubs have the poorest dogging. The evidence? High dogging activity reported in the East Mids and East Anglia, where there isn't a swingers club to be seen for counties and counties. Conversly, the West Mids has the countries best swingers clubs...and people over time will adapt their habbits to suit. Yes I know that the activites are not quite the same, but those who want a sexual thrill have a choice in the West Mids that may not exist elsewhere, and on a cold rainy, or snowy night, that choice may sometimes lead to couples choosing the warmth and comfort of a swingers club. Not everyone will look on it that way, but the swingers club I go to has a lot of members who I first got to know on a car park (the owners included!)
Theory 2 - "It hasn't half gone down hill over the last X years". How long have I heard that for? Tracing the theory back to its extreme, if today we get bits and pieces, but it's not as good as it was a couple of years ago, when similarly then it wasn't as good as it was a couple of years before that... ..then back in the days of the Morris Oxford, Ford Zephyr ahd Sunbeam Alpine, the car parks must have been teeming with couples all showing off to each other and a few respeted single gentlemen. Erm, was it really like that back then? I doubt it somehow. I dare say, back then, the doggers of the day would have been saying that they got a lot more in the days of the horse and cart. Now if this theory doesn't work in reverse, then it won't work in "forward mode" either. If you've hit a duff patch, well join the club. There will always be something...eventually.

Having looked at the list of dogging spots here on SH, I notie that the list is basically the same as the one I saw on one of the first dogging web sites I ever saw, 5 or more years ago. No-one has the task of updating it, and basically nor would I want it to be updated for the reasons that we aren't specific in this forum about What's On and When. The informatiion was dubious and out of date back then, so if you are basing your searches on the car parks listed there, well, it ain't no surprise that you are drawiing a blank. Basically I would prefer it if SH removed that into, as it is sometimes less wrong to provide no information than dis-information. Unless of course the plan is to lead newcomers into blind alleys, to give the rest of us a chance? (Mulder & Scully, where are you? There's a conspiracy theory hatching :shock: )

Depends on who does the organising. We have a couple of those here too, but they don't qualify as "Swingers" clubs. They are basically brothels, where you pay your admission to the club, the club pays the girls and the girls do their tricks. Any other women or couples there tend to be welcomed as whatever they do will effectively be unpaid labour. (what are the laws on slavery and / or minimum wages?
) More sex than you can shake a stick at if you are the sort of guy who doesn't posess the social skills to talk and make freinds with people, or to those guys who just want to empty their sacks. Hardly the sort of place a self respecting husband would take his wife to (not if he has any respect for her dignity anyway) unless you have a "total slut" preference, so maybe the average thrill seeker won't be lured from the car parks yet.
Once you get a "real" swingers club, then the situation may change.
in fairness to this club partyman, it does seem to be run with honourable intentions..the couples we met were there for erotic hosts really seem to be putting their all into making it the venue the members desire and i REALLY REALLY wish them luck..

been to 3 of the best known sites in the West Midlands over a period of 4 hours tonight.
Absolutely nothing was happening until I was just about to go home when I managed to find a couple.
Myself and another car parked a repectful distance from them and they seemed to be getting ready to put on a show for us when another plonker drives in and parks up right next to them giving them no space.
Needless to say this put a stop to everything and they just drove off.
It seems to sum up the West Midlands at the moment - either there is nothing going on or there are total idiots about who seem intent on ruining what bit of action can be found.
I agree tehre are idiots about. I was over Sandwell way last night and there was a couple parked in a relatively quiet area, they had beent ehre for a while. Then a car went round the car park and as he passed the car he made sure his full headlines were shone full on to the side of the couples car as he went past.
needless to say yet another couples evening spoilt and us patient ones losing out.

Can't help thinking that some people just don't know any better. Most seasoned single doggers at some time will have brought ladies to the car parks to experience dogging, and so will have some experience from the other side of the fence so to speak. But most of the youthful "seen it in the papers" doggers just don't have a clue and their ignorance leads them into making a balls up of the situation. You also have to remember that todays youth don't have that same degree of respect for others in anything that they do, so what chance of them respecting others in the dogging scene?
Another point is that some people brought up in foreign ways have been taught that men can have / do what they want and women are almost their property, so it is no surprise that they are a lot more "expectant" than others and don't take no for an answer, and more of these types are on the scene now too.
But yeah, I've been to the same car parks as you and seen just what you witnessed, so yes I get cheesed off with it too.
