After a conversation with a friend where with both regulary take part in dogging she asked me what piking i have never heard of it,can anyone help me out with this question????

piking is when you fish for pike only by selecting that species of fish which you target as in piking by using only methods and certain baits that the pike will take as your bait. and the same goes for only targeting carp when fishing but this is called carping ........................................hope this helps :

Colloquial northern slang.
Taken to mean a dogger who watches from a distance.
ie: never gets outa the car.
Although there is a site (pay) which seems to be under the impression thet piking is having sex with the int light on, and letting people watch (how you'd stop them is another thing)

I did manage to find out in the end and yes it is using the interia light and partener and dogging for inviting others to join! (which means ive been doing it wrong)lol

At the risk of getting it wrong here is what we think the various terms mean. We have been into " dogging " for 6 years and are not new to the scene.
Piker: Someone who just wants to watch, usually from a distance.
Dogger: Someone who will, at the appropriate time, come up to the car and would hope to be fully involved.
Exhibitionists: Those who, like us, are putting on a show or becoming involved with others.
We have only heard the word " Piking " used in the last year or so since the media became interested.
DOGGING has now become the generic term which seems to cover all of the above activites, and we will often use the term " we are going Dogging when in fact we are going to be exhibitionists or swingers or just plain perverts
Of course there is also the regional variations to take into account
