Hi,
Been going up to the for years and had some good times. But in the last couple of months it has got really bad.
The only people still coming up seem to be mainly the guys who drive in with lights on, checking for a woman, and leaving if they cannot find any couples out.
Any clues appreciated.

The is dead - the place is full of idiots who obviously don't use this site or they would know that they have killed the off
Went last Sunday, was fine until a gang of chav "hoodies" arrived in a car. They got out of their car and started prowling the car park asking drivers to get out so they could "fuck them up!" As there were 4 of them, all early 20's and the smallest was about 5ft 10ins around 12 stone, everyone left!

Yes the is bad now :twisted: , not totally dead as an odd couple do go up there from time to time, however it is like a fight fest with other doggers. Its a ashame as most places now are either closing down or boy racers are ruining them with handbreak turns and shouting abuse to folk.
I only go to the now again on an off chance, as I am only 15mins away but it is usually a waste night. One good thing about it is it is great star gazing and have seen some brill shooting stars
Tend to go around horsham or around winnie the poos home now as they seem un spoilt.

That is pretty shocking. I can only hope that someone fronts up and calls the police the next time those kind of yobs are up there.
I am guessing that these kind of people are not turning up when it is busy otherwise I could see their offer of trouble being met.
It is annoying that the other locatiions for dogging listed on here do not seem to be the most reliable, and are more like where people want dogging to be going on. A couple of the listings that appeared don't look particularly safe...

Having been a visitor to the for several years it seems sadly true that its going downhill, especially this last summer. The Oiks and trouble makers, ill mannered doggers, travellers and the caravans, plod and even large pot holes, not to mention the discovery of a body, have all contributed to a poor summer season.
The fast moving highly illuminating dogging pack missed a trick when I called by with my fuck slut at 2 in the morning a few weeks ago. We wanted to be watched and more, but the only 'takers' were either asleep in there cars or not interested because they were Gay. So we went to another site a few miles away and gave an outdoor display to a courting couple who reciprocated with a show of there own
There is still activity around but patience, stealth and local knowledge goes a long way to a good night.

I suspect that you are very right, but then this is also how it was a couple of years ago, but kind of recovered itself.
You are spot on with the "fast moving highly illuminating dogging pack": they are the bane of my time up there. I cannot believe how many people use even dipped beams to search out what they are looking for, and sod everyone else. And you know that they will be back in ten minutes...
The only problem is how do you stop it? Having watched certain people doing the same thing for more than six months, and presumably finding very little, they keep going. It is not like they will be getting out of their cars to see anything as everyone packs up when they show up!
I guess the winners from your last visit were the other couple.
