Can all the good guy truckers here please have a word with your colleagues who try their best to wreck the reputation of the rest of the truckers. A bit of "education" from within the ranks I think would be best received and have the greatest effect on improving things all round, rather than having some stranger in a "small vehicle" trying to pontificate to them
In particular, the sort of truckers, who park facing head-on to the entrance of a dogging car park (this one being in West Bromwich) with not only full beam lights, but fog lights and the rest of the ex-Wembley floodlights that add an extra tonne to the all-up weight of the cab, all blazing away for at least 2 hours last night, illuminating (and blinding) everything and everyone that entered and left the car park.
Leaving aside courtesy, manners, and respect for other people, that amount of light on a dark night on an unlit road seriously impedes the eyesight and is a driving hazard.
Those with the decency to appreciate what I mean and who know who you are, would, I'm sure, be ashamed to have such truckers counted amongst your ranks, so if you see that sort of thing happening, then when you share your coffee with them, can you have a word in their ears please?
