I guess it will be over the next few days whilst everyone whose read this checks it out - doh 
funny thing this i get the impression i should not have named this car park well how the hell would anyone know what I'm talking about and if this one is so hush hush then why on dogging locations on this site they give you directions to this same car park

Advertising -
Dogging can be a bit hit and miss, sometimes you can spend hours at a location and see no action at all. The way round this is to advertise on the dogging forum. When you advertise, don't advertise the location you're going to or what time you're going. This will result in a mass of single men waiting for you. I've heard of this happening and the couple turned up to a group of 25 single men, way too many.
All you need to include is the area you wish to meet in and the date of the meet.
Then simply ask people to email or PM you about the meet. Once you have the emails and PM’s, you'll be able to choose who you want, and email/PM them the details of the actual location and time. This should stop you being swamped.

I can understand why you think it is a bit of a do as we say... etc but by advertising on the forums, you are actually showing that a place is still active and that people are using it. The dogging locations is just an idea of place that have, or can, be used for dogging and is not staying if these places are presently being used.
The main reason for not putting the exact location on any meets on here is that it can help to protect the people that use them in so much as you are not advertising to the police, and half the population of boy racers, that a place is still used.
I know from my own experience that a place we used to use was advertised in the forums a couple of times, and for weeks afterwards, it was over run with kids and the police (plus virtually every chancer within a fifty mile radius presuming they would see some action).
I do understand what you are getting at by comparing the dogging location part of the site and here, but the reason is that the site dont allow you to post locations as being active as they are just trying to protect their members as far as they possibly can
