The Rugby World Cup is coming to the U.K., and although it may seem some way off, not only will it soon be here, but many of the tickets are already sold.
This is always a spectacular tournament, and matches are taking place throughout Britain, giving some local fans a rare opportunity to watch live matches, and to absorb the atmosphere.
More tickets are to be sold next month through the official website, and it is a requirement to register an account to be able to buy these. Go to for a chance to grab a ticket for a game near to you, or a game you really wish to see even. It's almost certain that tickets will be sold out very quickly, so good luck with your applications.
I'm sure we'll have more match focused threads closer to the tournament wink
As ever, the man with with topical timely reminders strikes again! Much appreciated heads up, ta Skinny..
I didnt manage to get the tickets I wanted for the two games being held at the amex stadium - its beern more difficult than getting hold of tickets for the Olympics ;(
Get out the Range Rover - don the Barbour jacket - head off with your picnic basket. Rugby world Cup tickets - the game for the 'people' - I think not ! !

I see where you are coming from James and it is sooo sad to see another of Britain's finest sports being tainted by the big money stakes.
What is so good to see though is so many young faces on the terraces - particularly female ones - enjoying the sport.
going to aus v eng.
cost £170 a ticket though.
I'm not a rugby fan, but I do like a good day out. Fortunately I have a friend working for sky sports who got me tickets for Tonga v Namibia, Namibia v Georgia & Italy V Romania. Well I figured a football world cup match would never be held 2 miles from my house, so I'd settle for rugby instead ;)
A couple of lads from work have got tickets for games in Milton Keynes, and that is all they are talking about, thye have ages to go yet. lol
