I thought France for the slam as well, but after watching Englands game against a fantastic Scottish team, now I am not so sure, one thing though, an international team should be able to play the whole 80 mins, not just one half i.e Ireland first half/Wales second, both great performances, but only for 40 mins each.

It was an embarrassment Steve. France wouldn't have deserved to win on that performance. Morgan Parra should have been brought on much earlier but it was closing the stable door after the horse (no pun intended - bring back Chabal, 'the horse') had bolted.

Having Italy beat France is a fine thing indeed :bounce: and will make for an unmissable six nations this year. I can't call it but i have a feeling its going to be a close run thing between four of the nations.
Didn't every medal winning Olympic person get an obe. Imagine if England ever managed to win the footy World Cup. All knighted and two weeks holiday for everyone. Only sport that would, rugby and cricket just don't cut it. Footy is still what every boy dreams of, rugby is watched by around 4000 at prem level and one of the 6 nations captains is paid 170000 too. Around the England footy captains image rights lol

what a crap day for rugby, the Wales/France game did not deserve to be won by either team, too slow and could end up being the most boring game of the 6N/13, as for the Murrayfield game, fair play to the Scots, they are improving but they were playing an Italian team that were not interested in even being there.
The Ulster/Osprey game on Friday proved much more entertaining so for the International level, let's hope for something worth watching from England/Ireland later today.

Dont agree its the best game still, even cricket rights get bought by sky ... not shown on the Beeb. Where do the 90000 fans at Twickenham go on Saturdays when premiership rubgy is played. Big teams get around 8000 tops.
