Getting old sucks. Hurt my back on Saturday, it wasnt even bedroom antic related. I think I twisted it funnyily on the beach, has anyone got some suggestions on how to ease the pain?

Please also feel free to post about your aches and pains.

A seriously slow and sexy massage sounds like the right tonic for you, lol, then lots of rest, breakfast in bed courtesy of mr P, am I on the right track?

I knackered my knee playing footie many years ago and compensating for this led to back problems but copious amounts of volterol keep me right most of the time.

Sadly, MrP works away so no massage for me until Friday.

You should try alternating paracetamol and ibuprofen - one or the other every two hours. There could be both mechanical and soft tissue components to whatever you've done to yourself. Usually helps!

Couldn't agree more: getting old does suck - but it's better than the alternative!!

Hello all, with me it is knees, both are knackered. I had a pre-op done on my right one a year past February and thought two or three weeks and I'll be in, then Covid arrived and put the biggest kybosh on knee op's, mind you I'm still alive unlike many other poor souls.

If and when I get a chance of being with a woman sex shouldn't be an issue as long as she likes to straddle, yes my favourite position is cowgirl which luckily was my ex's too. Onwards and upwards in a thrusting manner.

I hope everyone is managing to have some fun. 😉😋

I didn’t acksherly say that Mr P. Had to give the massage, he is on breakfast duty😉

Really vpoorly today wish I did have someone to give me a massage!

Total sympathy for you feeling like that.

Have you tried hot, then cold treatment?

It can happen regardless of age and will probably (hopefully) be right as rain before long.

I think that is possibly a good idea so will pop to the shop.

Thanks

Hi, Did your back pain get resolved?

Tell me about it! You certainly have my sympathy!

For the past couple of years I've been trying to build a terracing wall up on that useless ¼ acre piece of Derbyshire hillside that laughingly tries to pass its self off as "My Garden" in an effort to get some level ground!

EVERY 4" high density concrete block, shovelful of sand or concrete ballast, 25kg bag of cement and bag of topsoil for backfilling to level off the uphill side of the wall has had to be carried up the garden path.

The attached picture shews part of the wall a couple of months back before I finished that part of the wall.

Ouch!

I twisted my right knee in a minor motorcycle mishap.

Up a narrow lane on a CG125 and lost control when the back wheel skidded on gravel and ended with my right foot tangled in the undergrowth trying to point in the wrong direction. Luckily, instead of snapping the cruciate ligament, it pulled a sliver of bone off the tibia.
