anyone seen the film falling down?
people just lose it and it can be the smallest thing which triggers it.
consider ourselves lucky our gun laws are tighter than others because many bankers and bank staff would have been targetted for the mess we are in.
right or wrong when someone feels they cannot go on sadly they take others with them.
Not followed the trial or indeed a lot of the story but know he has pleaded not guilty
So what is the general opinion so far, is he guilty of the charges as alledged by the state or is he not guilty based on his own views of why he did what he did ?
I doubt that his plea of self defence fits well with their justice system. Since he has admitted to the killings, that must make him as guilty as hell.
Well yea I think he is guilty as sin and crazy in his views but not in his attempt to use the trial to push his views but I just wondered if anyone thought there was any form of justification however slight for his actions ?
Well I don't think any society has anything to do with it if your implying that a muslim or extremist society might view his actions differently, as always it is down to whose the more powerfull side with a view.
Flatten dresden - no problem we were winning
Nuke Japan - no problem the US was winning
Kill Jews for being Jewish - no problem Germany was winning
But what you say is why I raised the question, some people will support his views, perhaps not in the society we know but not just in muslim societies I fear, for instance, Basque seperatists might understand his use of violence to achieve his aims, Catholics in Argentina might agree, after all they condone the use of violence to gain control of the Falkland Islands, what about the Arabs they use violence for what they believe, in fact almost every nation does.
I was going to make a joke about hoping the authorities would let him out to get rid of that bloody awful 'band' that follow the England team everywhere. But I wasn't sure how everybody would react.
