Firefighters, as we have been called for 20 years, are not bomb disposal experts. That is true.
MP's are not * either.
The specific example was a woman who had petrol in in shed/garage to fill her sit on lawn mower. She decided to decant some of it into a (get this) ice cream tub (!) so her daughter could drive her children less than 1/4 mile to school.
There are so many things wrong with that sentence it makes me want to scream. But to do that action in an enclosed space with a lit gas cooker hob and a scented candle in the room is plain stupid.
No MP, or anyone else can be held responsible for this level of lunacy.
I am an expert at the "poor use of words"
But I am uneducated, I am nobody, I don't make my living from telling people how I can solve thier problems and make life better for them, I unlike the idiots that have said these things am not an MP.
That is my point as I keep saying, no a fireperson (whatever is pc) isn't a bomb disposal expert but does have a knowledge of the dangers he/she might come across in a fire because they chose a profession and learnt about it, they do not give advise that is dangerous or stupid in my experience when it comes to thier job, a far more respectfull profession than that of an MP for which they get too little pay, an MP also chose his profession, it is a shame that they cannot do it as professionally as firepeople do.
