(Not a BNP supporter - just a voter ;) Mr Griffin claims he was bullied which is rich coming from someone whose "political party" members have convictions for attacking and bullying others. Apart from that, he distinguished himself with all the charm of a megalomaniac lol

Brilliant!
Well don't think people can hold the prison conviction against him now!
again like i said...scaremongering from the militant lefties is no different that the right wing facists doing it!
Blimey....that must have taken some looking into, but kinda proves a point I feel.
Also at the BBC studios, or should I say outside of them, there was many a " thug ".
They looked to me to be the same people at the G20 demos.
It looked nasty and could have turned violent very easily. So both sides can be violent it seems.
Just trying to have a " balanced " discussion.
It seems the demonstators also have their thugs.

Not really it's on the BNP website.
Good and bad in all parties. Though I don't think the 3 main stream ones resorted to nail bombing folks.

Yep it is and its a lot longer!
Though the stats don't tell you over what period the information was gathered and if you based it on head of population of each particular party then you could work out the criminal convictions per party member which i think would show the BNP has a higher count than the others.
Though the green party would be quite high up, but their convictions are not exactly in the same league.

I don't think the way the main political parties tried to get their political agenda across was by young children I think that was the miscreants that were in the party and not party policy.

Yes I am well aware of their connection with Blood and Honour, but they are totally entangled with the BNP.
Panorama's expose was very clear on this fact.
Anyway the nail bombing attack I was referring to was undertaken against a gay bar by a member of the BNP not C18.
Another member of the BNP was convicted for further explosive related charges and another for making nail bombs. These weren't C18 members but BNP.
Sarah you was "cheerleading" Griffin on a similar thread. I guessed you watched it. How did you felt about the programme? The way he was handled and the way he dealt with it. What do you feel about the party since.
Disclaimer:
This is not an attack, just eliciting the other perpective.

They are saying that to deviate from their past racist crimes.

David John Copeland joined the BNP in 1997,he left in 1998,outraged by their democratic involvement then joined the smaller, violent and openly Neo Nazi group the National Socialist bombing occured a year after he left the BNP...a party he considerd too soft...is is at present serving his sentence in Broadmoor hospital, not a prison.

Disclaiamer:

Honestly, I thought he came across as slimy and arrogant but he is a politician and that's pretty much what I would expect from any politician. I did think he presented himself better than the others, especially Jack Straw who couldn't answer a straight question without faffing and bumbling. Griffin answered questions as best he could before he was shouted down. Whether I agreed with his views or not, at least he showed fortitude for being on there in the first place. I found the American museum worker most amusing, and as for the so-called "impartial" Dumbleby, he should be sacked from that job and employed on an "Oprah" style show. QT has lost whatever credibility it had.
The BNP benefitted from his appearance, but not perhaps in the way they wanted. There's only one thing worse than being talked about, and that's not being talked about.

yeah..the silly cow was rattling on about the Romans giving us diversty and that anyone could a Roman...yeah and if you didn't want to be one...they'd crucify you...simples!!
Can you tell me Browning....if you do not mind, why you are a member and what makes you vote for them? Is there anything in particulars they say that appeals to you, or is it all their policies.
The reason I voted for the bnp is probably the same reason most people vote for them, I am bloody fed up with the main parties!! evil
I thought nick griffin was poor on question time, and I, along with alot of bnp supporters don't want him as leader. I would like to see the bnp move away from thier racist roots and concentrate on matters that matter to ALL british people.
In life, we pick a party that we think best suits us, it does not mean you will agree with EVERYTHING the party stands for.
From the bnp website;
Deport all the two million plus who are here illegally , I agree with that.
Deport all those who commit crimes and whose original nationality was not British,
I agree with that.
Offer generous grants to those of foreign descent resident here who wish to leave permanently
DO NOT agree with that.
Reject all asylum seekers who passed safe countries on their way to Britain.
Agree with that.
- Introduce automatic prison sentences for all repeat offenders;
- Put police back on the streets and remove their current political correctness shackles;
- Allow victims of crime full freedom to defend themselves and their property
Agree with all of that.
All from the bnp website, there is also a load of stuff on there I DON'T agree with.
Holy crap Browning I don't think there's a full sentence I agree with, bloody hell! I feel like i've been slapped in the face by 1975.
I really don't want to see your points repeated in a quote they frighten me enough seeing them once.
So to each of your points I say

No
No

The part I highlighted - my understanding is that the profits and properties these people have acquired using the benefits of living in a first world country would be confiscated before their repatriation. The generous settlement would be a percentage of that, and the rest would go back to the public purse so that we can have the health service we and our parents worked and paid for. Then we can pay for fat people to get thin and we won't keep seeing heart-rending charity adverts on TV for Great Ormond St, Childline etc.
Thanks Browning for your honesty mate.
Yes I have seen their website.....jeez they even have a tv channel.
Yes there are SOME of their points I agree with too, but do not agree with sending anyone home, unless they are here illegaly.
My main points have always been the ammount this Government have let in, and the inability to deport those who should not be here.
Also I do not agree with the arguement of persecution, when they have travelled through so many countries to get to the UK....there are reasons why they do that and it ain't because they are persecuted.
I have seen the border control programme on the tv, real life cases, and the ease at which they can claim, and get asylum is frighteningly easy.

Nope

Combat 18 is the security wing of the BNP.
The person behind the nail bomb attack was David Copeland in May 1997, at the age of 21, he joined the British National Party, a far right, anti-immigration party. Copeland acted as a steward at a BNP meeting, in the course of which he came into contact with the BNP leadership and was photographed standing next to John Tyndall, the then leader of the BNP. It was during this period that Copeland read The Turner Diaries, and first learned how to make bombs using fireworks with alarm clocks as timers after downloading a so-called terrorists' handbook from the internet.
In 1998, Copeland left the BNP, outraged by their democratic involvement strategy. He then joined the smaller, violent and openly Neo Nazi, National Socialist Movement, becoming its regional leader for Hampshire just weeks before the start of his bombing campaign. It was around this time that he visited his family doctor and was prescribed anti-depressants after telling the doctor he felt he was "losing his mind".
