I am genuinly quite sad about Bob leaving us, which has rather surprised me as I am not in the least bit star stuck but there was something truly lovable about dear Mr Hoskins, anyone else feel a twinge on hearing this news..sad:(

The man was a brilliant actor but better than that he was apparently an unassuming and decent human being. Thoughts with his family of course and as the OP said I am quite surprised how sad I feel at his passing. RIP Bob.

Mr Hoskins was an actor who portrayed many roles. One role he never portrayed however was that of a spoilt brat with more money than sense. As Chish says, he was down to earth and likeable for it.
