Get ready for the Govenment to take your last few pennies. What taxes/Changes would you make?
Here is my mini budget
1. MPs expensis should be scrapped, no second, or third home allowances. No taxpayer porn films, no refurbished Holiday homes.
2. Caravan Tax, they just slow all the traffic down and get in the way. They cause conjestion and when they overtake eachother they are dangerous.
3. National service for all yobs! get them digging stuff and making baskets or number plates instead of getting up at 3pm and getting drunk LOL.
4. To stimulate the housing market I would force new development in certain areas to be at "below market prices" by granting planning and land sale to certain builders at maximum prices conditional on the above.
5. Reduce car tax, it should only be spent on the roads all this "gas guzzler" stuff is just an excuse to take more money from us. We all need a car so its nonsence to charge one vehicle more than another. If you drive a thirsty car you pay for that in your 80% tax at the pumps.
6. Force councils to empty your bins weekly, all this enviromental stuff is "Rubbish". Council tax up services down. Most councils only take the recyclable items they can sell for a profit...money...money...money.
7. Ban speed cameras, statistically they do no good at all except raise money.
Not all driven my financial motive, but here's my attempt.
1) Get rid of bus lanes. That way car drivers will have two lanes to travel in, halving any potential traffic jams and thus removing the need to catch public transport.
2) Everybody who wants to travel on a bus should pay for the priviledge. I don't use them, and as a taxpayer, I don't see why my car journey should be delayed by a bus full of people when I am paying for their journey.
3) Total ban on all television programs that require the audience to vote to keep in / throw out the competitors.
4) All gatso speeding cameras to be relocated into genuine accident blackspots and not in cash generating locations.
5) premiership football players salary levels to be capped. Tickets to the games to be halved in price.
6) chips to be re-classified as a vegetable
7) The 2012 olympics was won by London, and so should be funded by London. If you don't live there you shouldn't have to pay for it.
8) Judges should give out real sentences when dealing with murders / sex offenders
9) the little old woman who feeds the pigeons next to the do not feed the pigeons sign should be given a pair of glasses so she can read the feckin sign, then a broom to clear up all the crap the pigeons drop.
10) cigarette packets to be doubled in size. the extra bit to be inflammable and used for the all the fag ends and matches that smokers would normally drop on the floor. With their own personal fag bin there would be no more excuses for littering.
Some great ideas here, but if Brown were to read them he would disregard them since they help normal working and tax paying people. He is not content with ruining the economy, he is hell bent on ruining normal peoples lives. Lets hope the pain he inflicts only lasts a little longer, but will the other lot be any better? Only time will tell.
My only other campaign not mentioned before is the exemption of pensions from tax. This would take lots of retired persons out of poverty.
What about abolishing income tax completely and just having VAT @ 30%, sounds odd but think about the advantages.
Those that want to save for the future would be able to save more.
Everyone would pay their share commiserate with their spending, not income.
A whole strata of the civil service would be abolished and these intelligent people could be better employed doing a productive job.

Give people with thin lips free injections to plump them up and allow them to take part in activities that they currently struggle with, thereby stopping them feeling excluded, such as, blowing up ballons, whistling back their dogs and being able to blow out their birthday candles and making that wish.

Before they go on about raising taxes - I think they should stop all the tax fiddles and scams that are operated by the ultra rich such as tax havens (over 50% of world trade is run through tax havens), corporate hospitality scams and excessive bonuses etc.

Taxes have to be raised to educate the workers and provide infrastructure that these parasites require for their business, quite apart from taxes needed to fight terrorism etc, and the rest of us mugs have to pay for it while they're wondering which new model of Ferrari they'd like...grrr..

Great political budget - watch for soundbites over next 24 hours .............. in terms of economics, budgets don't make much sense these days as they often refer to increases that will come in next year or beyond, and we will have all forgotten about them tomorrow and certainly when they do come in!
Must have a bit of long-term planning, the odd policy and strategy here and there, but remember one thing! When an election comes along we mostly vote primarily for the "now" - how do I feel today! Look at coalition governments around the world - Germany and Italy are good examples ............... really, Italy is! All have to work together creating less "swings and roundabouts" governments ........ look at us in comparison!

Anyone who buys a posh Fiat (Ferrari) to pay 5K a year road tax as they are usually as vulgar and brash as their owners and they should buy an Aston instead....
sieze all the banks including the "private bank bank of england" underight small depositors funds (up to 2 £m) govt soley to issue credit and paper (fiat) money. repudiate all foreign loans and fictitous derivitives. illegalise hedge funds and offshore accounts. begin a massive house building and intrastructure rebuilding programme. repudiate all private finance initiative loans (theft) arrest all senior bankers pending an inquiry (genuinely public) and publish all findings. abolish all quango's and have local elections for people to have a say in all the activities of their lives. make govt credit immediately available to industry in the interest's of making the country self sufficient in agriculture and industrial production. no taxes now or in the future to support the theiving userers !
