Doughnuts v's Donuts

I prefer a cognac with my morning coffee... Donuts make my fingers sticky and they then make a mess of the iPad screen..

We have a lovely little riverside cafe where the main speciallity is a tray of cooked on the spot donuts with a choice of drizzles on top.... mmmmm its lethal, I can eat a whole tray lol

My grandson always goes for the ice cream dipped in melted chocolate.

I had a wife who enjoyed alcohol in her morning coffee .....trouble is , it didn`t stop there !!

Qu'elle horreur!! Fancy spoiling a decent coffee by dumping alcohol in it, not to mention spoiling a half decent cognac by watering it down.
Espresso, cognac and a square of high content cocoa chocolat! l'ensemble parfait :thumbup:

No Do-nut will ever be more welcome than those available from the Hasty Tasty outlet on Birmingham New Street which backed onto the open market, in the 1980's.
A perfect ring of deep fried batter, crusty, light and doughy and sprinkled with just enough sugar.

Sorry, but I'm British, and the only "doughnut" I recognise is a greasy ball of yeasty dough, rolled in copious amounts of crunchy sugar, and injected with just enough strawberry jam to guarantee a stain on your tie. And it has to ensure that you can't resist doing this post-consumption. :lickface:
