for those amongst us that are unaware, it's the giving up of the demon drink for the whole month of january, with a contribution to charity being the goal.
So 4 days later, having had a particularly bad time in a kitchen planning outfit place, I felt the need to partake in a drink or two. Bottles that is. Dry white, sauvignon blanc.
So who is doing better, and who has done worse? Why?
The donation to charity is still on, just humbled.
3 bottles of single malt say this won't be a dry January for us, will try for dry weekdays , makes the office work a bit easier to manage. And as for charities, there are too many good causes, we stay focused to ours.
Is this the same as the so called 'Janopause' outlined in the Mail on Line this morning.
Seems a bonne idée to me
Any help that my liver can have to recover is just fine with me!
Can't be doing the charity thing though I'm afraid.
