Just annoyed the kids by stopping Guardians of Galaxy 1hr 31mins in and stating "that's the Lloyds building" and then proving to them by going onto google maps. Give that this is a completely made up film it was surprising to find an real building in the film and begs the question how may other scenes were real locations.
Anyone else spotted recognisable locations within mainstream films.

i remember sitting in charlies cafe in Greenwich 20 years ago and in walked Gary and Martin Kemp they was filming the krays round the corner and as the cafe was full they asked to sit at my table to which i agreed.
i was busy stuffing my dinner and generally taking no notice when Gary introduced his-self and his-brother i introduced my self knowing full well who they was and continued to eat my dinner, 5 or so minutes later Gary said to me "do you know who we are" my reply was "yes your two blokes like me, you guys sing and make films and i fix cars" Martin burst out laughing and we became quite good friends that summer with few invites to clubs and shows.
