Hi all, I'd just like to say that I'm home from hospital and on the mend again.
I suffered a burst blood vessel near my brain on Monday. Fortunately it wasn't a main artery and treatment was swift so there should be no long lasting effects.
It is unlikely that there are staff here from the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital, but I can't thank them enough for the high standard of care I received. Mrs T is however slightly miffed that she isn't about to benefit from my insurance and will :small-print:
I also can't recommend enough that anyone likely to go to hospital takes a smart phone, charger and earphones with them! There is very little else to do when you have to lie flat for hours on end, and I certainly appreciated the power of the iPhone.
Thank you to those of you that have made comment elsewhere and in PM's. I'd also like to point out that there is no truth in the rumour that after several hours the doctors stopped looking for my brain in my head and found it in my dick instead!
I'm now at home and taking it easy.
