And can someone please tell me why we in Scotland need a seperate government? which is always going to be at odds with whatever party is in residence at Westminister, who in turn are going to be at odds with Brussels/Strasbourg......where i ask is the political sense in all this?

I think we need to find out alk those who would be willing to be politicians and get them all together and deport them to an off shore british island - lets say Rhum and leave em all there with all they need bar a method of communication

but the only bits that the uk government have over is Defence, Taxation, and foreign policy...
but there is a huge problem with that..... all these gas and oil reserves in the north sea I think you would find would be in scottish waters.....

your probably right it was...look at all that lovely tax payers money that they`ve spent building a complete carbuncle of a talking shop, employed yet more politicians ( David Cameron and others saying that westminister is to big i.e too many politicians) and of course the bane of everyones life yet more civil servants ( have yet to meet one who was civil incidently).
