I am glad to hear BB is getting the axe from channel 4 , just hope it dont appear on any other channel.
I just cant believe it runs for so long.
I understand the `Matrix` films but just cant see the point of BB.
I know alot of you out there like it. But now you can do something better with your spare time instead of watching a bunch of `odd` people 24hrs aday.
PS i have watched the first night , just to see who they have choosen, and yes they did have the odd stunner to be honest but weird !
Must admit I think that BB is totally contrived (as is most TV of course) shite. I'm glad its axed and can only hope that whatever replaces it is good or at the least less shite. My personal hate is Masterchef goes large - what a load of bollox.
As for not watching stuff if you dont like it - you have to watch it to discover you dont and then every now and then reaffirm how much you dislike something by trying it again.
As most that know me....would know.....I am a Big Brother addict and have been since series one. I love to watch the inter-action between people, seeing how they react to differant situations and scenerios. I love the bit where the get the socialogist in to read the body langage and attitutes. The program is known by everybody young or old in the country....and so I really to think it can be said to be ground breaking. The biggest problem now, is that the contestants in the show, have watched 9 previous years, and so know how to play the cameras and therefore the game. Big brother itself has not yet worked out how to deal with this. At times it has become stale. however this year the twists and turns in the show, have been fantastic. Channel four is still going to run it next year and without a doubt with the amount of channels now available on SKY or such like, it will not dissappear or go away.
One thing for sure is I shall be auditioning again last year.....now being on the last ever one.....that would be fun !!!!
i enjoy big brother, i dont enjoy football, cricket, olympics, neighbours, day time tv, films, or pretty much any thing else on tv, so i dont come here saying yeah football is going to not be on again etc.
its on for 12 weeks, so whats the problem?
to be told by someone i shouldgoand find something usefull to do instead is rather insulting.
its harmless and my free time to relax as i choose after working all day, i have a important job that require a sharpmind all day, i am not a idiot or a moron which i feel gets implied because of the programe i choose to watch to unwind.

The first couple of series were good, and the fight night series was brilliant.
The trouble is now that they go out of their way to find the most fuc-ed up people out there, and Channel fours dream time, was the race row issue.
It has become stale and has run out of ideas. They have said it is not a " commercial decision " that is bollox. Very few people now watch it to the figures that used too.
It has run it's course and they have made their money with the rigging of the evictions, and making money was always their main objective which they achieved.
I have watched very little of this series as the " housemates " have been so boring I would rather watch plants grow.
Fair points well made Dean.
I do hope the inherent problem of contestents ebing too "knowing" can be overcome.
Im glad it has stopped because it went from an amusing peek into people interaction to a freak show with a little bot of humiliation thrown in.
I think the X factor will be up for the chop soon. Its getting to the stage when you can predict the nature of the contestent simply by the mood music employed. I did so with that chap last night and even guessed cancer correctly although I said dad not brother.
