It's my birthday today and I'm feeling a little sorry for myself - anyone know any good jokes to cheer me up?

Don't get me wrong, my family have been great and I've had a nice day - my parents came around and chatted on my doorstep for a while and my daughters bought me some nice presents and treated me to a takeaway dinner but now they have gone to bed and I'm all alone thinking of better times.

I know what I'd rather be doing right now!

How are my fellow loners coping with the repetitive evenings alone? A whole year of staring at the walls and months left ahead of us - I'm wondering what the waiting list will be for RSI surgery once the world gets back to normal! blink

Anyway - tell me something funny...

Yesterday I saw a guy spill all his Scrabble letters on the road. I asked him, “What’s the word on the street?”

Once my dog ate all the Scrabble tiles. For days he kept leaving little messages around the house.

As the worst joke teller ever I’m afraid that I cannot help out with the jokes. Just wanted to say that I have enjoyed chatting with you on the forums, you seem to be a really together person and give good advice. Birthdays can be a rather poignant time allowing for a wee bit too much self searching and reflection especially in times like these. Not long now until we get our freedom and you can make up for lost time ravaging a queue of unsuspecting men. Until then C’est la vie! As they say in Germany..."

There isn't quite the queue you think, it just seems longer because of the social distancing! Thanks for the little dose of 'foreign'... that should keep me ticking over nicely for a wee while!

Happy Birthday hunny - I know I'm a day late but better late than never. You might be a year older but you're still relatively young - compared to us anyway. Yes it's been a hell of a year but hopefully the end is sight.   There isn't quite the queue you think, it just seems longer because of the social distancing!  - haha very funny and very topical but I bet it's long enough and that you've had a lot of interest! Not too much longer till we can all play again, stay strong.

Love Lynn xx

 Thanks, Lynn!

Yes, the end is very much in our grasp now and you are right, I do have options for the moment we are allowed to get out and about again. I'm not usually one for drama but last night I realised just how long it was since I felt the touch of another person! I'm fine today though and will just carry on getting my ducks in a row in preparation for the world reopening!  xxx

I was going to sell my sat nav, but i would be lost without it.

Im selling my dyson tho as its just gathering dust.🙄
