A recent survey suggested the average woman has twenty pairs of shoes of which at least one pair she has never worn .
How many pairs do you have ? if criticised as to the excessive amount of shoes you own what is you defence in terms of your partner's excesses for example how many drill bits do you really in that tool box .
You shouldn't worry about such shit. they're girls.
I probably have 3 by the way.... who fekin counts.... I only ever wear one at a time.
We're getting ready to move and in packing this situation of numbers came up...
117 pairs of shoes
42 pairs of boots
12 pairs of trainers
10 pairs of crocs
and 54 handbags....
Blimey I am less than average
3 pair black high heel shoes
1 pair sexy high sandals (my faves I love them)
2 pair brown boots 1 heeled 1 flat
1 pair black boots
1 pair pink sandals
1 pair pink toe post sandals
2 pair bike shoes
1 black handbag, 1 brown handbag even though I love handbags I don't buy them.
Blimey I am barely a woman at all
Ohhh in edit 1 pair of toetectors for work, how could I forget them
One pair of shoes. Nearly only ONE shoe - the left one. The right has a hole in the bottom. Guessing it will only last a few more days. Then I have a choice.... buy a new pair, or chop off a foot.
I also have a pair of trainers.
And a pair of boots, for winter. They are obviously put away neatly, in a cupboard as it is not winter. I may also have an old pair of boots in there too.
Sounds rather extravagant doesn't it, sorry about that
well....3 pairs of work shoes
........8 pairs of going out shoes
........3 pairs of walking shoes/boots
........2 pairs of running shoes
........2 pairs of pumps for squash
........3 pairs of trainers
........3 pairs od allstar type trainers
........4 pairs of flip flops
........2 pairs of willies
so that's 30 pairs.....does that make me an honorary female !!!
opps.....maybe that should have read wellies !!!!!
Me: 2 trainers, 1 boots, 1 work pair, 2 formal pairs, 1 pair flip flops.
Mrs T: Over 50 pairs of 5 and six inch heels, countless other low heels, flats, trainers, boots, etc etc.
work boots 2 pair
going out shoes 2 pair
walking boots 1 pair
trainers none
sandals 1 pair
motorbike boots 4 pairs
Like st3v3, I have only a few pairs.
Curious thing though.
When I buy a new pair, I tend not to start using them until about a year after purchase :undecided:
I am currently wearing out a pair of loafers I bought in France about 15 years ago. I guess they cost around the equivalent of £10 then and have been incredibly good value!
Controversially, I subscribe to the notion that giving women shoes only encourages them to go wandering off so best to restrict the number of pairs they have
