BUT hopefully the banks will pay back all the money, or that is the plan anyway.
I don't think they will but, the banks lost loads of money through sheer incompetence, this woman knowingly stole money.
The ammount the banks have been given equates to roughly four thousand pounds per person, she has stolen EIGHT times that ammount.
I cannot see the comparisons between the banks and what this woman has done. Yes both dishonest but she had to collect her money every two weeks, knowing she is not entitled to it, and it is theft.
Have the banks done anything illegal? Immoral yes....but illegal I do not think so.
There are quite a few people who would think that Kenty's idea of punishment is not nearly harsh enough. Hows about chopping people's hands of for stealing? Stoning women for adultery, and I'm sure we would all like to see paedophiles beheaded.
Still it would reduce the cost of keeping prisoners I guess. :twisted:

Ben..... if it looks like a chav, talks like a chav acts like a chav and steals like a chav IT IS A CHAV!! She ticks all the boxes so Kenty is not a nasty man at all but in fact 100% correct.
Also must say that i rarely comment on the posts now as i am sick of the bullying,mainly to Kenty, (yes Ben it is bullying) that goes on when someone makes a point or has an opinion different to the little group of you who stick together like flies on shit.
Now the comments will come from the people whose names i can list now before they even start all shouting me down and saying its not bullying its just a difference of opinion and that people like Kenty are big enough to look after themselves etc,well yes they are big enough to look after themselves but frankly i find it sad that some of you feel the need to "pick" on someone else and bait them and try to belittle them because of something they have said.
When you get a minute take a look at this forum and see who actually posts these days its now always the same few and nearly always the same happens on every subject, mmmmm i wonder why no one else posts these days afraid of attack and ridicule maybe.

The people that the genuine hatred is usually aimed at have no such opportunity. Forgive me if I feel it necessary to put myself in their shoes occasionally and comment accordingly.
I've said it before and I will say it again, I would happily cease to take any interest in the current affairs forum when posts cease to aim to further marginalise minorities.
I take your point about bullying, I think quite a few regular posters get a shitty time and I also think that puts a lot of contributors off. I would be much happier if the forum moderation had a zero tolerance policy when it came to personal abuse for example. That said its an adult site and I for one would be just as happy standing up to opinionated bigots in the local boozer as I am here. Of course one mans opinionated bigot is another man's hero. That diversity is what makes the human race so fascinating.

Jumptoit, Kent knows full well that when he puts up threads like this, he is going to get a reaction. That is after all the point of posting on an internet forum. The strength of that reaction is quite often directly proportional to Kent's occasional deliberate use of inflammatory language. You know, perjorative terms like chav, animal, scum, etc, which funnily enough some people find offensive.
As for those who choose to disagree with him being bullies who gang up on him, seems to me that Kent has just as many supporters of his viewpoints as he has detractors. I personally have no problem whatsoever with Kent personally, nor do I have a problem with him using the forum as he sees fit, within the AUP, as is his right. In turn, I claim the right to respond as I see fit. That is not bullying. It is healthy debate.
We've had some good little rows Kent and I, but I like to think we'd still happily have a chinwag over a pint should we ever run into eachother.
Anyways, we're wildly off topic now . . . .
