Well I read somewhere that Jessica Ennis's Olympic performance weill net her approx £2 to £5 million within the next five years, which sounds fab and good luck to the girl, but then I also read that Andy Murray's Olympic victory would earn him *deep breath* approx £100 million in the same time period, the difference is staggering.
Mind you, for the price of whatever a Euro Lottery ticket cost, the ticket purchased recently netted a UK person over £148 Million.

Ok, stamp it is.
You have to bear in mind that until recently people couldn't appear on British Stamps unless they were the monarch, or they were deceased. There were a couple of unidentifiable blobs, like the tribute to Freddie Mercury had shadowy figures behind him who were the other members of Queen. Sir Francis Chicester appeared badly drawn in 1967.
So, I'll guess that there are loads of people with a nice wedge of cash, but not many who appear on their own stamp.
