I have just deactivated this function on my accounts. I realised that I have been effectively “spamming” others and it’s probably not helping me as a single bloke to meet others.
I really understand what you were intending, but my laziness in the shotgun approach has not been clever.
A suggestion is to create a new matches message to everyone. It will also hopefully stop the occasional errors in the match algorithm, annoying others getting messages from wrong matches. I’m not sure of the privacy issues involved. I do know I have found myself blocked before I get a chance to chat or at least comment.
Singles have a tough time anyway as the percentage that chicken out of possible meets or have no interest in the point of this site or the lifestyle. It’s about both giving, trusting, respecting and fun.
My thoughts anyway, those that have received these messages have I got this right?
